The United Nations announced, “The rate of (Ebola) acceleration is now picking up dramatically.”

The defense minister of Liberia said, “Liberia is facing a serious threat to its national existence. The deadly Ebola virus has caused a disruption of the normal functioning of our state. Ebola is now spreading like wildfire, devouring everything in its path. The already weak health infrastructure of the country has been overwhelmed” (emphasis added).

On Thursday, the International Monetary Fund released a statement indicating that Ebola has crippled the mining, agriculture and services sectors of Liberia and neighboring Sierra Leone.

Jesus said these things would be prevalent in the latter days before His return,

“Nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places” Matthew 24:7.

There has never been a time in history when the world has experienced so many different types of deadly pestilences, and now nations are literally threatened by the surge of Ebola.
