A major 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit the New Britain region, Papua New Guinea, on March 7, 2015, at 22:19:03 UTC, at a depth of 61 km, reported CSEM-EMSC.

A major 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit Northern Colombia on March 10, 2015, at 20:55:46.7 UTC, at a depth of 178 km, reported CSEM-EMSC.
