A major 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Solomon Islands on March 31, 2015, at 12:10:43 UTC, at a depth of 49 km, reported Geoscience Australia.

A major 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Tanimbar Islands region, Indonesia, on April 1, 2015, at 09:35:57 UTC, at a depth of 16 km, reported Geoscience Australia.
