A major 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit the Caribbean Sea on November 25, 2018, at 0341 UTC, at a depth of 10 km / 6 mi, reported the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
The PTWC issued a Tsunami Information Statement on November 25, 2018, at 0345 UTC.
