A tsunami struck the Sundra Strait in Indonesia late Saturday, at about 9:30 pm, which was caused by the Anak Krakatau volcano, which has been erupting for months. A landslide occurring at the volcano caused the deadly tsunami to hit the Sundra Strait without warning and at least 222 are dead (latest count), and more than 800 have been injured. An untold number of people are missing and authorities expect the death toll to climb.

Jesus forewarned us about the time of His return,

“There shall be signs in the sun, in the moon and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring” Luke 21:25

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.
