The Color Purple – God Is Trying To Tell You Something

(Shabbat Shalom – Peaceful Sabbath)
Is something not quite right, and no matter what you do, there is still an emptiness, perhaps an uneasiness, a void? Our eternal souls say, “Yes” to eternal life, the joy of the Lord and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding.
“The peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:7
Albeit, if your flesh (carnality) is warring against that longing in your soul, you won’t be happy and you won’t be satisfied, until you surrender your life to God. Sure, there is temporary happiness in the things of the world, but at the end of the day, nothing the world has to offer brings that inner peace, the eternal peace and joy that only the Lord God, Creator of all things, can give.
The Word of God tells us,
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23
