PROPHECY OF FALSE CHRISTS
The disciples of Jesus asked Him what would be the sign of His return. In answer to that question, the first thing Jesus told His followers was,
“…Take heed that no man deceive you, for many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many” Matthew 24:4-5
Fulfillment of that prophecy:
Claiming to be Christ: Sergey Torop, David Shayler, Apollo Quiboloy
Also claiming to be Christ: Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda, who said he would not die. He died in 2013.
There were a couple of false Christs in the 18th Century, several in the 19th Century, but since the 20th Century, there has been an explosion of false Christs, which is pertinent to the hour in which we live, and is the fulfillment of Jesus’s prophecy on the Mount of Olives (Matthew 24).
Why do you suppose there aren’t as many people claiming to be the Muslim Mahdi (messiah)? Jesus didn’t prophesy that many would claim to be the Muslim Mahdi, that’s why.
There are many others who claim to be Christ that are not featured in the videos above (List of People Claiming to Be Jesus). People who don’t know the Word of God for themselves are vulnerable to any charlatan that comes along, because God’s Word tells us exactly by what means Jesus will return, and exactly what will happen when He returns, so we can know who is a false Christ, and who is the real Jesus when He comes back.
Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled, to the point of a mathematical impossibility, unless they were given by God. Most Bible prophecies have already come to pass, and those remaining will most certainly be fulfilled.
Will you be ready to face Him when He returns? Signs in the earth and the fulfillment of last days Bible prophecies tell us we are close to that event.
Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.
Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass. Are you prepared to stand before God and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth (Revelation 20:12-15)? If not, salvation is only a prayer away. Please visit the How Can I Be Saved page – your eternal destiny depends on it. God bless you.
“The Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him who hears say, Come; and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely” Revelation 22:17
