A major 6.4 magnitude quake hit off the coast of Oregon on August 29, 2019, at 1508 UTC, at a depth of 7 mi, reported NTWC.
The NTWC issued a Tsunami Information Statement on August 29, 2019, at 811 AM PDT. (The PTWC also publishes this information, but something is wrong! **See below)
