A major 6.4 earthquake hit 55 miles southeast of Adak, Alaska, on November 24, 2019, at 0054 UTC, at a depth of 33 miles, reported the NWS National Tsunami Warning Center.
A Tsunami Information Statement was issued on November 23, 2019, at 406 PM (AKST).
