Cansado del Camino – Jesús Adrián Romero

(I’m Tired of the Journey)

שבת שלום

Shabbat Shalom = A Peaceful Sabbath

A friend taught me this song at one of the worst times in my life. I hold the song dear, because when I am weary from the battle, it expresses my heart to the Lord. The lyrics depict an embattled and tired soul coming to the Lord to be refreshed. Listen and you will be revived in the river of God’s Spirit.

CANSADO DEL CAMINO

(I’M TIRED OF THE JOURNEY)

Cansado del camino, sediento de Ti,

(I’m tired of the journey, I’m thirsty for You,)

Un desierto he cruzado, sin fuerzas he quedado,

(I have crossed a desert, slowly without strength,)

Vengo a Ti.

(I come to You.)

Luche como soldado, y a veces sufrí,

(I fight like a soldier and I suffer at times,)

Y aunque la luche he ganado,

(And though the fight I have won,)

Mi armadura he desgastado,

(My armor is worn,)

Vengo a Ti.

(I come to You.)

(Repita)

(Repeat)

 Coro

(Chorus)

Sumérgeme en el río de Tu Espíritu,

(Submerge me in the river of Your Spirit,)

Necesito refrescar este seco corazón,

(I need to refresh this dry heart,)

Sediento de Ti.

(I am thirsty for You.)

 (Repita coro)

(Repeat chorus)

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass. Are you prepared to stand before God and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth (Revelation 20:12-15)? If not, salvation is only a prayer away. Please visit the How Can I Be Saved page – your eternal destiny depends on it. God bless you.

“The Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him who hears say, Come; and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely” Revelation 22:17
