Jews throughout the world are remembering how God graciously empowered them to defeat their enemies and how He provided continuous oil for the menorah after the oil should have run out (the oil represents the Holy Spirit).

As we head into day five of Hanukkah, let’s also remember that Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), after He completed the requirements to enter the priesthood, stood in the Temple, asking for the Book of Isaiah, and fulfilled the ancient prophecy of Isaiah 61:1-2, as He read:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the of the Lord” Luke 4:18-19

If you are a Gentile believer in Jesus, you are a Jew by adoption and can celebrate all these things (Romans 11:17-27), if you believe it. Jesus is a Jew and will always be a Jew! So, if you are a child of God, you are also a Jew. If you don’t believe that, you are no child of God!

The Apostle Paul, a Hebrew among Hebrews (Philippians 3:5), said, by divine revelation from Jesus, that the Gentiles are grafted into the natural olive tree when they become believers in Jesus (Romans 11).

Celebrate Hanukkah everyone!

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass. Are you prepared to stand before God and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth (Revelation 20:12-15)? If not, salvation is only a prayer away. Please visit the How Can I Be Saved page – your eternal destiny depends on it. God bless you.

“The Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him who hears say, Come; and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely” Revelation 22:17
