SUPER MALARIA SPREADING IN ASIA
A drug-resistant strain of malaria, dubbed “super malaria,” is spreading quickly in Southeast Asia and scientists are warning it could be a global threat.
A team studying the spread of malaria at the Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit in Bangkok said,
“It presents one of the greatest threats to the control and elimination of malaria.”
Professor Nicholas White said,
“We are losing a dangerous race.”
Malaria is one of the world’s most lethal diseases and the fatality rates are approximately 85-90 percent in many parts of Asia, Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Jesus said concerning the time of His return,
“Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places” Matthew 24:7 (emphasis added).
Pestilences/super malaria – another sign of the last days.
