PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS IN CHINA RISE AGAIN
Christians were dragged out of their church and beaten by police in Shanggiu in Henan province, as police and officials demolished the Shuangmiao Christian Church.
About 40 worshipers were dragged out of the church, dozens were beaten and eight were arrested, while the church was razed.
The Chinese Communist Party has launched a major crackdown on religion, reported Express.
At various intervals, China relaxes persecution of Christians, only to surge upon their meetings suddenly and oppress them. It seems likely that the raids are relaxed in order to bring Christians out in the open, just so they can persecute them again.
Christian churches must be registered with the government of China and they are only permitted to use a state authorized Bible, which is largely obliterated of truth.
True Christians in China will not settle for the stripped and tailored Bible offered by the state.
We, as Christians in America and other free countries, must be very thankful for our liberty to pray, worship and read God’s Most Holy Word in its entirety.
We need to pray for the persecuted church in China, as well as those throughout the world, daily. They are our brothers and sisters and we can’t forget them.
Jesus said concerning the last days,
“Before all these (other signs to come), they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into the prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for My sake, and it shall turn to you for a testimony…And you shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren, kinfolks and friends, and some of you shall they cause to be put to death; and you shall be hated of all men for My name’s sake, but there shall not a hair of your head perish (speaking of eternal life). In your patience, you possess your souls” Luke 21:12-13,16-19.
