TURRIALBA VOLCANO ERUPTS, SHUTS DOWN AIRPORTS
Costa Rica’s Turrialba volcano erupted on September 20th and at least four eruptions have occurred, spewing ash 13,000 miles into the air, which caused authorities to close two airports in Costa Rica.
We will see more volcanoes erupt during the last days. The Word of God tells us,
“I will show wonders in heaven above, signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke” Acts 2:19.
Major earthquakes frequently occur throughout the islands of the earth and there are at least 145 active volcanoes listed on the interactive map at volcanodiscovery.com, not including underocean volcanoes. The Word of God further tells us this, or similar events, will happen when the Lord returns, as foretold in the prophetic visions of John the Revelator.
“The heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together and every mountain and island were moved out of their places” Revelation 6:14.
The inhabitants of the earth will see shaking and violent movement when the Lord returns…
“Every island fled away and the mountains were not found” Revelation 16:20.
God’s people will not be harmed when His wrath is poured out, but the wicked will try to hide…
“The kings of the earth and the great men, rich men, the chief captains and mighty men, and every bondman and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains and said to the mountains, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb (Jesus), for the great day of His wrath is come and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:15-17.
