You know, folks, this old song has never lost its appeal amidst all the new talent. I remember singing this song at church when I was very young, and it has never been more pertinent than today. We can look all around us and see the signs Christ spoke of concerning the last days.

Nevertheless, the Word of God tells us there will be an escape for the saints of God before the great tribulation begins (It hasn’t even started yet!):
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.
Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass.
