THIEVES STEAL WATER IN DROUGHT-STRICKEN CALIFORNIA

Excerpts taken from KQED.org

Wells have gone dry in California and water prices have also spiked, so thieves have turned to stealing water, a rising commodity.

Thieves in Madera County have been stealing hoses, wiring, water pumps and they are siphoning water out of tanks.

On November 7, 2007, Georgia’s Governor Sonny Perdue publicly announced that he would host a prayer service the following Tuesday, November 13, 2007, to pray for rain on account of the drought.

Atheists in Georgia were very critical, one stating the Governor made Georgians “look stupid,” and atheists protested the prayer service.

The very next day, Wednesday, following the prayer service, quite a rain poured down on Georgia!

The Word of God tells us time and again that when people turn their backs on God, He withholds rain. For example, He warned Israel not to serve other gods, or He would withhold rain,

“Take heed to yourselves that your heart be not deceived and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them, and then the Lord’s wrath be kindled against you, and He shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit, and lest you perish quickly from off the land which the Lord has given you” Deuteronomy 11:16-17.

The simple fact is that He continues to withhold rain from those states and counties where sin and Godlessness prevail, in that He is the same “yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

There is no doubt that the California Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act in 2012, which God Himself instituted in Genesis 2:24, has had a direct affect on the continuing drought in California.

When the Lord returns to earth to establish His righteous kingdom in Jerusalem, He threatens the same thing to other nations,

“And it shall be that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain” Zechariah 14:17.

I suggest Madera County residents, and all of California, hold a prayer service.

*It does no good for people to pray, however, unless they also intend to serve and obey the Lord God, Creator of all things (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Drought brings famine, and Jesus said concerning the last days,

“Nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places” Matthew 24:7.

Earthquakes are on the rise and humanity sits on the verge a virulent pandemic, according to epidemiology experts; and with droughts on the rise throughout the globe, famines will not be constrained to third world countries before long.

Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining will surely come to pass. Are you prepared to stand before God and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth? If not, salvation is only a prayer away. Please visit the How Can I Be Saved page – your eternal destiny depends on it. God bless you.
