“Where Your Treasure Is”

I had a dream yesterday, which didn’t make any sense at all when I wrote it down. Most of the dreams and visions I have don’t make any sense when I write them down, until after I pray and ask God for the interpretations, then I go back and write a summary of the dream or vision I wrote down and the Lord then gives me the interpretations of my dreams and visions. The same is true with the dream I had yesterday morning. After I prayed, the Lord gave me the interpretations of all the symbolism and I summarized the meaning of my dream. God is faithful and He always answers my prayers; some are still pending, but He always answers, just as He promised:

“And in that day you will ask Me (Jesus/Yeshua) nothing. Truly I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you” John 16:23 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

I take my dreams very seriously, because the Word tells us that God speaks to us in our dreams:

“Why do you strive against Him? He does not give an account of any of His matters. God speaks once, yes twice, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men in slumberings upon the bed, then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction, that He may withdraw man from his purpose and hide pride from man. He keeps back his soul from the pit and his life from perishing by the sword” Job 33:13-18.

Joseph interpreted dreams, because of which his brothers were so jealous, they sold him into slavery. In the end, nevertheless, the interpretation of Joseph’s dreams, that got him into trouble with his brothers, came to pass later when he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, for which Pharaoh promoted Joseph to second in authority over the entire Egyptian empire, only second to himself! Dreams and visions and their interpretations are very significant throughout the scriptures and, again, I take my dreams very seriously, as we all should.

Once God gave me the interpretation of my dream yesterday, I knew in my spirit that the dream was not for me, but that I needed to publish it here, on this website, for one, or more, of those who frequent this site for sermons/messages from God. Even if the dream doesn’t apply to you today, there is a very important message behind this dream, so I pray you will still benefit by it.

THE DREAM

I dreamed I went to a pet store/hotel to return some pet food and I met a boy outside of the store who told me he was very thirsty. I told him that perhaps they had something to drink inside the store for him, if he would ask. A woman heard me speak to the boy and she said they had water inside and I could ask for some, then I noticed a water dispenser with cups, as I looked through the window of the store. The boy was shy and didn’t want to go in, or ask for himself, so I told him I would bring water out to him. I went into the store and I was amazed to see how very nice the accommodations were for pets, and I thought how sad it was that there are so many homeless people who didn’t have nice rooms to live in, such as these hotel-type rooms they had for pets! I went to the counter and returned the pet food I purchased and I met a woman at the cashier’s counter, whose daughter was learning how to walk on stilts. I looked over to the far isle next to the wall and I saw this very pretty girl about 14-15 years old walking on very high stilts. Through her sheer long skirt that covered the stilts, I could see a woman walking along with her right next to the stilts making sure she was measuring each step, so she wouldn’t fall down. After I checked out, I still had the opened pet food I returned and I took it outside to the trash, because they couldn’t resale it. I realized when I left the store that I hadn’t asked for a cup of water for the boy who was thirsty outside, then I woke up.

INTERPRETATION

Pet stores/hotels are very pricey. In this dream I purchased some pricey dog food and I went back to the store to return it, after opening it, for some reason. In the meantime, I saw a boy outside who told me he was very thirsty. This boy was poor, but not only was he poor, he was very thirsty, indicative of not only being in physical need, but spiritual need as well. He was too shy to ask for water from the well-to-do store-owners, and once the woman who passed by confirmed there was water to drink in the store, I offered to bring out some water for the poor, thirsty boy. I went about my business in the elaborate store and was so enamored with the environment and taking care of my own useless business, I completely forgot about the poor boy waiting for some water outside. I met a woman inside the store whose daughter was learning how to walk on very high stilts. Stilts represent being lifted up high above everything else below. The woman who patronized this fancy pet store/hotel was also teaching her daughter to walk high above everyone else and snub the “low life” below, not only by example, but careful instructions, as this young girl was being tutored, step-by-step. The beautiful young girl had a tutor at her feet!

God forbid that any of His children would ignore the needs of a poor, thirsty young boy, pass him up, while shopping in a ritzy pet store/hotel and lavish expensive items, even hotel-like accommodations, on their pets when they travel, etc… Even if we can’t literally see the boy in this life, he and others are out there, very much in need. I say this by experience, that we have no business lavishing anything extra on our pets, while people are hungry and thirsty for the Word. There are many ministries that we can partner with to meet the needs of the poor and minister to their spiritual needs. If the saints of God aren’t already connected with people in need and giving to their needs and ministering to them spiritually, they need to be! Excessive spending on animals, while people around us are hungry and thirsty and have other needs, as well as spiritual needs, is, quite frankly, a sin.

I gladly receive correction from the Lord, and I would have received this reproof for myself, had the Lord not already chastised me about spending too much money on my horse years ago. Besides purchasing some trinkets she didn’t need, even though she did very well on her regular, unlimited feed (horses are trickle feeders and need access to at least grass/hay at all times for their digestive system), I decided to purchase my old mare some Purina horse pellets, what I commonly referred to as her “horsey chow.” The pellets cost considerably more than her regular hay pellets, premium hay and oats I was already feeding her, but I just had to add the horsey pellets to her already fabulous diet! She did love them, but nearby squirrels also loved them and it seemed like every squirrel from miles around moved in to get in on the “horsey chow!” My old mare passed on from fatness and old age a few years ago, but I can’t tell you how many squirrels I have trapped and relocated, but they still love this place and I can’t get rid of them to save my life. A slight reprimand from the Lord for spending too much money on my beloved horse. I received the reproof and regretted it; I repented of the excess spending, when I could have given more to feed the hungry and those in need through the ministries I partner with. So, when the Lord gave me the interpretation of this dream, I knew it wasn’t for me, but He moved on my heart to publish it and I know this is for someone, or others, who will visit and read this message from the Lord.

The Word tells us:

“Why do you spend money for that which is not bread and labor for that which does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to me and eat that which is good and let your soul delight itself in fatness” Isaiah 55:2 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust corrupts and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts and where thieves do not break through nor steal; for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” Matthew 6:21 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late, because we have no guarantee of tomorrow.

PEACOCK 6

THE PEACOCK ASLEEP

I thought Part 5 was the last of this series, but apparently not. The Word admonishes us not to state our plans (or as in this case, to finalize something) without saying, “If the Lord wills” (James 4:15). That was my error, because the Lord gave me another message during our holy convocation. There are five messages preceding this one, this being the sixth message the Lord gave me, after showing me six variations of a constellation in the form of a peacock, which represents the Bride of Christ, the great “speckled bird” (Jeremiah 12:9 – see Part 2 for emphasis on what the “speckled bird” means).

As I was praying and looking out my east window, I saw the peacock constellation again, which the Lord showed me when He gave me the preceding messages. This time, the peacock was lying down. The Lord ministered to my heart that His Church, in general, is “asleep.” Not all churches are asleep, but most. If you attend a Church that is alive with the Holy Spirit in your midst, you are truly blessed!

This new constellation brought my mind straight to the Lord’s parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25). As you remember, there were 10 virgins and five of them were wise, having oil in their lamps, but the remaining five were foolish; they had run out of oil. What is oil? It represents the Holy Spirit in scripture. When someone was anointed with oil, that was symbolic of their anointing by the Holy Spirit.

All of the virgins had fallen asleep, because the bridegroom tarried. As we can see today, the Lord has certainly tarried. I don’t know how much worse it can get, after California Governor Gavin Newsom just signed a bill that allows people to kill their babies up to 28 days after birth without question! The satanists are having a field day in California! Some other states are in line to do the same. Children are being taught in public schools that if they are a girl, they might not be a girl; and boys might not be boys! They are confusing children about their gender, rearing up homosexuals, bisexuals and transgender abominations, which is evil (please visit the Home Education page for more information about these atrocities and your rights to home educate your children and the Home School Legal Defense Association [HSLDA], which protects your rights for a nominal membership fee.) The bridegroom tarried, so all of the virgins fell asleep; but at the wake-up call, five had oil and were immediately ready to go; the other five missed the bridegroom and the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:9) while they went to get oil.

Most pastors today refuse to allow the Holy Spirit to move during services. They want to be in control and if someone is moved to speak in tongues and, or give the interpretation of tongues, they see this as an affront to their administration, out of order. They don’t trust the spiritual condition of the parishioner to hear from God, or to be able to speak, or praise the Lord in a certain way under the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit. If a member gets excited and praises God out loud, this is seen as being out of order. These churches are dry and the members are spiritually asleep when the Spirit of God cannot move in their midst.

Praising the Lord with all of one’s heart is not out of order. We are to gather together to praise the Lord with all of our heart. The Word tells us to allow the Holy Spirit to move in an orderly fashion, but not to quench the Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19), that if one speaks in tongues, there should be an interpreter of tongues in the Church:

“I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied, for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification” 1 Corinthians 14:5

“Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret” 1 Corinthians 14:13

Paul goes on to explain in 1 Corinthians 14 how this should be done in order, not erratically; but to prohibit the move of the Holy Spirit altogether is the same as telling the Lord He is not wanted in the services.

Pastors, youth leaders and other leaders of the Church, please pray for the members and instruct them in the Word, but don’t shut them down and, moreover, don’t offend the Holy Spirit!

Even if you have a loud band and some eloquent teaching, if the Holy Spirit isn’t welcome in the church, you are headed for a spiritual sleep that can be deadly. Don’t mistake excitement for the move of the Holy Spirit; they may look alike to you, but some people are capable of shouting themselves all the way to hell, quite frankly.

If you have a great band and some eloquent speakers, but the pastor and members aren’t using the following critical Kingdom Keys, beware:

  • Are you meeting with God in prayer on a regular basis? For example, I have three set times to pray each day, the Fourth Watch early in the morning, midday praise and thanksgiving, and the First Watch at sunset. My midday praise/thanksgiving time is flexible, but my time set aside for prayer during the early morning and at sunset are not. I don’t allow anything to interrupt the First and Fourth Watch Holy Convocations; they are God’s time and I don’t allow anything to interfere with my appointments with Him. As others understand you have a set time with God and that time can’t be interrupted, it also puts forth an example to them how important God is in your life, that you place Him first, above all things. God answers all of my prayers and I believe that setting these priorities for prayer is key.
  • Are you witnessing to the lost at every opportunity, especially to your own family members? God called every single one of His disciples to be witnesses. When we fail to witness to others we are essentially saying, “I don’t care whether you are saved, or not. I could care less if you end up in hell forever!” We have failed to follow God’s commandment, if we fail to witness (Matthew 24:14; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8).
  • Are you paying your tithes and offerings? If we withhold from God what belongs to Him already, we are robbers, thieves (Malachi 3:8-12). Our offerings constitute our gifts to God, besides our tithes, to express our gratitude for all that He has done for us. If we give sparingly, we will reap sparingly (2 Corinthians 9:6). The Word says that if we do this, “All nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land, says the Lord of hosts” Malachi 3:12. Another promise to those who pay their tithes and offerings is: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house and try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it; and I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the Lord of hosts” Malachi 3:10-11.
  • Do you help the poor when you encounter them? People say the poor are likely to buy alcohol and drugs with the money, so they might buy them a sandwich, but never give money. However the Lord leads is how we should give, but make sure it’s the Lord. Everyone needs water, food, shelter, clothes, and perhaps diapers, baby food and baby clothes – and a sandwich only covers one of many things people need, and a sandwich doesn’t always suffice. For example, I give cash, but I warn beggars that what I am giving them belongs to God, so they need to make certain they don’t use the money for anything bad, or it will be a curse to them, instead of a blessing. I always have a gospel tract on hand to give to them as well. Helping to meet needs without directing souls to Christ is a refreshment on their way to hell. Rescue souls. Keep gospel tracts on hand at all times, saints.

These are some of the things that bring the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon us, as Christians. Those who attend church regularly, but are not diligent in prayer, praise, witnessing and giving, are still very much in need of revival; they are spiritually asleep and need an awakening, before the Lord comes for His Church and before it’s too late.

Jesus said,

“Blessed are those servants whom the Master, when He comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that He will gird Himself and have them sit down to eat and will come and serve them” Luke 12:37

JESUS TEACHING

‘YOU SEEK ME NOT FOR THE MIRACLES, BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE FILLED’ JOHN 6:26

The topic of this message comes from John 6:26:

“Jesus answered them and said, ‘Verily, verily, I say to you, You seek me not because you saw the miracles, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled’” John 6:26

The preceding day, Jesus had just fed 5,000 with only five loaves and two fishes, and afterwards He went to pray on a mountain alone; during which time, His disciples crossed the Sea of Galilee (Tiberius). During the evening, Jesus came to His disciples walking on the water, and when they received Him in the ship, they were immediately on the other side of the Sea, at the shore of Capernaum. When the people, for whom He did miracles, couldn’t find Jesus, they took ships across Galilee to look for Him and they found Him in Capernaum. When they found Jesus, they asked Him,

“…Rabbi, when did you come here?” John 6:25

Jesus’s response (John 6:26 above) was that they weren’t seeking after Him because of the miracles He performed, but because He gave them food and they were full. What was Jesus really saying here? Jesus continued:

“Do not labor for meat that perishes, but for the meat that endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of Man shall give you, for God the Father sealed this One” John 6:27 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

Jesus knew the people weren’t seeking after Him to gain knowledge of spiritual things pertaining to the salvation of their souls, not even because of the miracles He did; but they were thronging Him to get whatever carnal benefits they could receive.

It would have even been a good thing if the people ran after Jesus because He performed miracles, because they believed He was the Son of God; but Jesus reproved them because their motives were wrong.

Some churches are packed with people today, but not all of them are seeking after God and things eternal. Some are in it for the Singles Ministry; some attend to get their children hooked up with a moral group of kids, or a few hours of free childcare; some for whatever benefits the church can offer them; some pastors are working for the money, or some extra income. There are all kinds of motives out there, but God looks on the heart, and every one of us will stand before Him on Judgment Day:

“But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not look on his countenance (pertaining to Eliab, the son of Jesse), or on the height of his stature, because I have refused him; for the Lord sees not as man sees, for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart” 1 Samuel 16:7 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened…and whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:12, 15 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

How do I know some people have bad motives and their hearts aren’t right with God? Is that being judgmental? We aren’t to judge people, unless we are authorized by God to do so in the Spirit (having the gift of discernment) and we, the people of God, will “know them by their fruits:”

“You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits you shall know them. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out devils in Your name, and in Your name done many wonderful works?’ And then I will profess to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who work iniquity” Matthew 7:17-23 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

How was it that Peter judged Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, even to the point that he predicted their death – on the spot, because they lied to the Holy Spirit (Acts 5)?

Not many people seem to fear God these days, even among those who frequent churches. It isn’t uncommon to see women, even those with positions in the church, dressed risqué. Pastors, deacons and leaders in the church allow themselves liberties that men of God wouldn’t tolerate a few decades ago, hugging women (when the Word tells us “it is good for a man not to touch a woman” [1 Corinthians 7:1]), and other liberties, such as allowing themselves to be alone at a location with a woman they aren’t married to. No doubt, in most cases, these are only friendly gestures and unintended acts that lead to harm; but the entire Word of God is relevant. God knows that friendly touching can lead to illicit thoughts – and more. When has there ever been a time when we have seen more adultery and fornication going on among church leaders and members? One impropriety leads to another, then illicit thoughts and then…

Does God’s Word make for meaningless babble? There is a reason for every Word and all saints need to adhere to God’s Holy Word!

Every one of us need to examine ourselves daily and walk circumspectly before the Lord, lest we be led astray:

“Examine yourselves, (to determine) if you are in the faith, test yourselves; or do you not perceive that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are reprobates (without conscience, not redeemable)” 2 Corinthians 13:5 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

“See that you walk circumspectly (before God), not as fools, but as wise (servants), redeeming the time, because the days are evil” Ephesians 5:15-16 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

Is that harsh? That’s the Word of God. People, especially pastors, need to quit “cushioning” the Word of God, but rather allow God’s Word to reprove, rebuke, exhort… (2 Timothy 4:2).

We need to examine ourselves, our hearts and motives, frequently. If we don’t judge ourselves and reprove ourselves when necessary, we will stand before God in judgment. I don’t know about you, but I would rather correct myself, as to experience the wrath of God coming down on me! Been there, done that! The Lord chastises those He loves (Hebrews 12:8).

“For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience” Ephesians 5:5-6 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

“For the wrath of God from heaven is revealed on all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” Romans 1:18 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

“But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin” Hebrews 3:13

“But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation” 1 Thessalonians 5:8

“Working together, we exhort you not to receive the grace of God in vain; for He says, ‘I heard you in a time acceptable and I helped you in a day of salvation.’ Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. In nothing giving cause of stumbling, that the ministry not be blamed” 2 Corinthians 6:1-3 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

This Is Not Your Home

Jesus said,

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust corrupts and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts and where thieves do not break through nor steal; for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” Matthew 6:19-20

God has blessed his people with homes, cars, appliances and many other convenient commodities to enjoy in our time; perhaps even an abundance of many things, which are good – to the extent that we do not enjoy them without sharing from that abundance to the thirsty, the hungry, the naked, indeed, those who are living in poverty, and support the ministry of the gospel.

The Word tells us,

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (He doesn’t change)” James 1:17

So, we can all certainly appreciate an unlimited number of good things that God provides in this life, as long as we have done no wrong to acquire it, and as long as we give God His part, which is a tenth of what He has given us, and as long as we share, in at least fair measure with furthering the gospel and helping the poor. This can vary widely in accordance with the portion God has given us, and above all, what God expects from us individually. Beyond God’s ten percent to the ministry, “that there may be food in My house” (Malachi 3:10 NKJV). God expects us to pray and seek Him, as to what amount and to whom we should give our offerings, for He knows very precisely what is the greatest need to be met and where our finances will be of most benefit. On occasion, that might not even be your home church.

Some people are totally dependent on their pastors to direct them in such matters as giving, but God hasn’t given your local pastor control over your finances; He gave them to you to manage. Some might even say that is rebellion. No, it absolutely is not. As long as you support your minister/local church with your tithes and some offering(s), we are not obligated to turn over complete control of our lives to local pastors. Does God’s Word tell you that your local pastor is to come into your home and pay your bills, discipline your children, direct your activities of daily living, etcetera? No. Our obligation to our local pastors is to pay our tithes, a portion of our offerings (perhaps all, that might depend) and to respect him as our pastor. Your personal life remains your personal life, otherwise, God would have placed a pastor inside every home. That’s not what He did and that’s not the role of a pastor. If you are sitting under a pastor that wants to direct every aspect of your life, get out of that church; you are involved with a dictator, not a shepherd. *Remember, a shepherd is one who leads (by example), not one who drives the sheep. Sheep cannot be driven and God’s Holy Word compares us to sheep, and a pastor to shepherds. Even Jesus didn’t drive His disciples, but He was often quoted as saying, “Follow Me.”

There is also an important Biblical principle that everyone needs to understand, and that is if one saint is called to give up everything and join a full-time ministry, that is not what everyone is called to do. If one saint pays tithes and offerings to their local church, but also gives offerings in abundance outside of their local church, because they feel the calling of God to do so, that is nobody’s business, but theirs and God’s.

The Word tells us,

“For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves; but they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise” 2 Corinthians 10:12.

The Apostle Paul gave these instructions, lest one member of the church aspire to be like another member and possibly fail to do according to what God requires. God does not expect the same things among all members, but He, in His sovereignty and foreknowledge, requires from us those things which are specifically assigned to us as individuals, and not the same as others. Take note of this situation for example:

“Then Jesus beholding him, loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack; go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven, and come, take up the cross, and follow Me” Mark 10:21

If we all have the same exact calling, God would be telling each one of us to sell everything we have, give it to the poor and go join some full-time ministry. This calling does, in fact, apply to some; albeit, it doesn’t apply to everyone.

God knows each one of us very intricately and He expects from each one of us in accordance with our own abilities to perform and give, not in a manner that is like everyone else.

The Word also tells us,

“…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” Philippians 2:12

Notice, that doesn’t say, “work out your own salvation in accordance with what everyone else does.”

As you pray and ask God what is your portion in this life; what is the amount you should give and where you should give it, remember that this world is not your home; we are only passing through here momentarily (compared to eternity).

Every one of us should ask ourselves if we really need that brand new car, or is the older one just fine with regular maintenance; if the house really needs a new coat of paint, or are we considering spending that extra money just to have a more preferable color; if we really need that expensive vacation, or would a scenic trip in the car to a beautiful location nearby suffice just as well, allowing for those extra $100s or $1,000s to help provide clean water and food to those in extreme poverty in the name of Jesus!

Remember, friends, we are all strangers and sojourners in this world, just passing through. Our final home is, well, it can’t be described…

“…Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” 1 Corinthians 2:9

The extravagant home pictured above cannot in any way be compared to our heavenly home, if we are faithful to God in this world.

“He who has a bountiful eye shall be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor” Proverbs 22:9

Do You Have A Relationship With God?

I find it amazing just how many people claim to be Christians, yet they support abortion, gay and transgender lifestyles, live in fornication (sexual relationships outside of marriage), backbite and gossip, rob God…; they live just like any other sinner, lost without Christ, yet they claim to be “Christians.”

No, I am not saying that Christians never sin; in fact, we struggle constantly to overcome. Nevertheless, there is a vast difference between falling at times, repenting, and getting back up and into the fight (against ungodliness); versus living in sin on a regular basis.

I am also not saying that salvation can be gained by works. One cannot observe the Sabbath, pay tithes/offerings, give gifts to charities, attend church, do good deeds…and earn their way to heaven. Salvation is free, absolutely free.

The entire Bible gives us examples of what is sin and not allowed by God, if one desires to serve Him:

“You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman; it is an abomination” Leviticus 18:22

“Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (men acting like women), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuals)” 1 Corinthians 6:9

“For this cause (refusing to obey God’s Word, but defying it), God gave them up to vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use (of men) into that which is against nature; and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working that which is indecent, receiving the recompense of their deception, which is mandatory (like AIDS). And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting” Romans 1:26-28 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

The Word tells us that once you are saved, if you do not “keep His commandments,” you are lying and the truth is not in you:

“My little children, these things I write to you, that you sin not, and if any man does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. By this do we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, I know him, but keeps not His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His Words, in him truly is the love of God perfected; by this we know that we are in Christ Jesus. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk (live) even as He walked” 1 John 2:1-6

What is so difficult about these scriptures that so many people are not understanding them today? They are of GOD’s HOLY WORD and cannot be ignored.

Is that too difficult? It shouldn’t be, if you are determined to live for God, because the Word of God also says,

“No temptation has overtaken you, except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, Who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear, but with the temptation, He will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” 1 Corinthians 10:13

Christians need to stop listening to the “nay sayers” that proclaim “Christians have to sin everyday!” This is absolutely not true, according to God’s Holy Word; so, who are you going to believe? Backsliders and liars who say we have to sin, only to justify their ungodly selves, or the HOLY WORD OF GOD? The choice is yours. Finally, I will leave you with these Words of truth:

“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13

It boils down to our earnest desire: if we want to live holy; or if we really just want to claim Christianity, but continue to live in sin at the same time.

“Then He (Jesus) touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith be it unto you’” Matthew 9:29

It’s according to your faith and fervent desire. If you want to live holy and follow Christ, He will give you the strength to do so. If you want to enjoy yourself in this world, and try to hold on to Christ at the same time, it will never work out for you. You will either admit your desires and go away sorrowful, as did the rich young ruler (Matthew 19:16-22); or you will decide, for some reason, you want to stay where you are and deceive those around you, ending up the liar the Word says you are (1 John 2:4); or you will forsake all evil, take up your cross daily and follow Jesus.

And He (Jesus) said to them all, ‘If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me’” Luke 9:23

The choice is yours.

ARMOR OF GOD

Are You Prepared?

Throughout my years of serving the Lord and attending church services, I have observed something among the saints that the Lord moved on my heart to write about, and that is their ill-preparedness for what is coming in this dispensation of time.

Anyone who has a decent understanding of the Word of God cannot deny that we are living in the last days, perilous times, according to Bible prophecy.

The following signs prevail throughout the world today:

  • Surge of liberalism
  • Blatant torture and murder of unborn babies, even the torture and murder of babies after they are born alive by those who have pledged to preserve life!
  • Homosexuality, transgenderism, queer – anything goes fornication
  • Pedophilia
  • Satan worship
  • Terrorism
  • Crimes against humanity of all sorts
  • Pestilence – global
  • Increase in great earthquakes
  • Extreme weather
  • Increased volcano eruptions
  • Famines
  • Distress of nations and perplexity
  • Incontinence
  • Pride/arrogance
  • Indifference/lack of sympathy/hate
  • Criminality

No one can deny that crimes are rampant throughout the world and the Liberal-Progressive-Socialist-Marxist-Leninist-Democrats are even pushing for the release of criminals from prisons. They can solicit these characters for groups like Antifa, and convince them to vote for Liberal Democrats.

In the midst of this pandemic, criminality, and outright blatant torture/murder of unborn babies, and babies born alive, has the church grown closer to God in prayer, fasting, witnessing to the lost and standing up against lawlessness?

No, most have not. In fact, more and more churches are astonishingly siding with liberals and promoting acceptance of fornication (LGBTQ)! God said this is an abomination, but many of those who claim to be Christians promote such sins.

“You shall not lie with man, as with a woman. It is an abomination” Leviticus 18:22.  *Also see this sin condemned in the New Testament: Romans 1:21-32, specifically verses 26 and 27.

The Word of God tells us that all who are in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution; this is especially true in the last days.

“Yes, and all who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” 2 Timothy 3:12

We should all know that persecution will increase, according to Bible prophecy.

There was a time when I faced tragedy, but I wasn’t spiritually prepared, as I should have been, and the suffering I endured was worse, because I didn’t have a close relationship with the Lord at that time. I didn’t really know how to pray as I should, or to live victorious in the midst of tragedy and death. I can speak on this topic from first-hand experience. It is imperative, especially now, that we be prepared for spiritual warfare and endurance.

We are living in perilous times and prophecy is being fulfilled right before our eyes, such as Jesus warned us about.

Jesus said concerning the time of His return (about 2,000 years ago),

“Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom (Greek transliteration – ethnos eppa ethnos – ethnic groups against ethnic groups, as in whites against blacks; basileia eppa basileia – religion against religion, as in Muslims against Christians), and there will be famines, pestilences (like coronavirus) and earthquakes in diverse places” Matthew 24:7 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

The Word tells us to “…build up your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (Jude 1:20).

If you haven’t received the gift of the Holy Spirit, you need to seek the Lord with all of your heart, even right in your home, for this gift. The Word tells us in Acts 2 that the gift of the Holy Spirit is for everyone. Peter stood up in the midst of all who gathered together, and who were curious about the saints in Jerusalem speaking in different languages, and he told everyone:

“It shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your young men shall see visions; your old men shall dream dreams; and on my menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy…Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, for the promise is to you and your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call’” Acts 2:17-18, 38-39

Please note that Peter said, “and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, for the promise is to you and your children and all who are afar off.” This means you too, friend.

Some ministers preach that the Holy Spirit was only given to the apostles and it is not for the church today. This is a lie and it contradicts Bible teachings. I will give you examples below.

Jesus, when He called His apostles to go out and witness, the Word tells us that He said and did the following:

“So Jesus said to them (His disciples) again, ‘Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.’ And when He said this, He breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’” John 20:21-22

Jesus breathed on His disciples and imparted the Holy Spirit to them for God’s service, but this was not the “gift of the Holy Spirit” that was promised, as prophesied by Joel (Joel 2:28) and spoken of by Peter (Acts 2:38-39). I will prove this fact – keep reading…

We already know that Jesus breathed on His disciples and they received the Holy Spirit (John 20:21-22). This actually was one blessing given to the disciples of the Holy Spirit for service, but the “gift of the Holy Spirit” was actually given at a later time, in the “upper room” in Jerusalem, after Jesus ascended up to heaven.

Jesus said these things to His disciples after He had already breathed on them and they received an impartation the Holy Spirit:

“And being assembled together with them (His disciples), He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father (spoken of by the prophet Joel, in Joel 2:28) which, He said, you have heard from Me, for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now” Acts 1:4-5

The gift of the Holy Spirit spoken of by Jesus here, that He told His disciples to go to Jerusalem and wait for, was obviously different than the impartation He had given to them previously, as He instructed them to witness. At that time, there is no record of the disciples speaking in other languages, when Jesus breathed on His disciples; but after the disciples went to Jerusalem, as Jesus instructed them to do before He ascended up to heaven, these are the events that took place:

“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” Acts 2:1-4

Obviously, something very different happened here. Again, when Jesus breathed on His disciples on an earlier date and said, “Be filled with the Holy Spirit,” they were endowed with an anointing of the Holy Spirit to witness. Nevertheless, Jesus told them at a later time, just before He ascended up to heaven, to go to Jerusalem and wait there until they received the “gift of the Holy Spirit” that had been “promised” by God “the Father” and “you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now” (Acts 1:4-5).

Those ministers who say the gift of the Holy Spirit, as the disciples received it on the Day of Pentecost in the upper room, was only for the disciples of Jesus, not for us today, completely contradict the facts described above, especially the statement Peter made, when he said, you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, “for the promise is to you and your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call’” (Acts 2:38-39). These ministers obviously either haven’t sought after the gift of the Holy Spirit for themselves, or perhaps their spiritual condition will not avail such a gift from God to them, and they go about telling others they can’t have the gift of the Holy Spirit either. In any event, they definitely are not well-versed in the scriptures, especially not those which teach about the Holy Spirit.

Be encouraged, if you haven’t received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Know this, that if you will live holy to the best of your ability, and if you do sin, repent immediately and continue to live godly, as much as lies within you, and if you pray for this gift, even right there in your home, you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, just as the disciples received it, as described in Acts 2. How do I know this? First and foremost, the Word promises this gift to all who are called by God to receive it (Acts 2:39).

God said He will pour out of His Spirit on “all flesh” (Acts 2:17-18). This especially means you, beloved, if you are seeking the Lord with all of your heart and abiding in His will, and the Word of God bears out this fact.

Now remember, the disciples had to “tarry” or “wait” in the upper room for a number of days before the Holy Spirit came upon them. Don’t be discouraged; you may have to wait also, but believe, be obedient to God, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, just as it was imparted to the disciples on the Day of Pentecost – God promised!

In these last days, perilous times, the saints of God absolutely need the gift of the Holy Spirit to be victorious in our spiritual battle against the forces of darkness. The Word tells us,

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places” Ephesians 6:12

The Word also tells us,

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [b]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day; and having done all to stand, 14 stand, therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” Ephesians 6:10-18 (https://BibleGateway.com)

The Word instructs us to “pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” The gift of the Spirit is demonstrated by “other tongues,” other languages. Why is it important to pray in the Spirit language? The Word instructs us on that topic also:

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities, for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And He Who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God” Romans 8:26-27 (https://BibleGateway.com)

Praying “in the Spirit” is the most effectual, fervent prayer that the saints can pray, and God will most certainly answer those prayers, because the Spirit knows what should be prayed, “according to the will of God.”

I can’t stress enough how important it is that God’s people seek the gift of the Holy Spirit and pray in the Spirit, especially in these last days, because we need the help of the Spirit to “quench the fiery darts of the wicked one” (Ephesians 6:16).

“And it came to pass that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus, and finding certain disciples, he said to them, Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said to them, Unto what then were you baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John truly baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on Him Who should come after him, that is on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them and they spoke with tongues and prophesied” Acts 19:1-6 KJV

Do you desire the gifts of the Spirit, spoken of in 1 Corinthians 12? These gifts are given through the gift of the Holy Spirit. If you want a close, deep and very personal relationship with God, which may include any one of the gifts of the Spirit referred to in 1 Corinthians 12, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, having received the gift of the Holy Spirit spoken of in the above passages of scripture, more specifically in Acts 2.

There are people who are carnal and “walk after the flesh” (Romans 8), but claim to be Christians; then there are Christians who are filled with the Spirit of God and have a close relationship with Him, “walking after the Spirit” (Romans 8).

How do we stand before God today? It is imperative that we examine ourselves and judge ourselves, before we actually face the Throne of God’s Judgment.

God will not refuse you any good thing; seek Him and the gift of the Holy Spirit with all of your heart, until you are filled, beloved.

Who Is the Bride of Christ? – Part 4

Peacock constellation, just as the Lord rearranged it in heaven

This is the last of a four-part series and there are three messages preceding this one, this being the fourth message the Lord gave me, after showing me four variations of a peacock constellation, which represents the Bride of Christ, the great “speckled bird” (Jeremiah 12:9).

If you haven’t already done so, please read the first three messages (below, preceding this one), then return to this one, which is a continuation and the final message of this series.

Central to this message, and the preceding ones, is how the Lord arranged the peacock constellations to portray the spiritual condition of various churches today, in these last days.

The Lord, again, rearranged the peacock constellation relative to His position, He being the head of the peacock. Christ is the head of the Church:

“And He is before all things and by Him all things consist; and He is the head of the body, the Church, Who is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead (by His resurrection), that in all things He might have the preeminence” Colossians 1:17-18

Christ the Lord must have preeminence in the Church, otherwise the Church is devoid of His presence entirely; He will not stay in a rebellious church.

Have you ever attended a dried up, totally dead church, where the services are so spiritually “monotone” that you were sort of desperate to leave the environment? That describes many churches today, but not all of them. Some of them, especially the megachurches, pay big bucks for gospel bands, or what can be considered entertainment, in order to keep folks happy.

Contrarily, I have been in a gathering of just three people, two others and myself, where the power of God manifested so profoundly that I literally wasn’t able to stand on my feet. We were praying and praising the Lord, completely surrendered to His will, to the point that we tarried there in His presence until after midnight.

That’s the difference!

In that setting, the three of us were also given to fasting, praying, reading God’s Word and we all had surrendered hearts; the Lord was first in our lives; He has the preeminence.

It doesn’t take an entire congregation of people to bring about the powerful presence of God. If two or three are completely surrendered to the Lord and they are given to fasting, prayer and the study of God’s Word, even if the whole congregation is otherwise weak, if those two or three are allowed to help lead the service in some manner, perhaps in praise, worship, songs, or are allowed to give a prophetic message from God to the congregation, all the others can’t hold back the presence of the Lord!

The Word of God tells us,

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I will be in the midst of them” Matthew 18:20

That is a promise.

The preceding two scriptures actually explain why the Lord is present:

“Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again, I say unto you, that if two of you agree on earth as touching anything that they ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven” Matthew 18:18-19

Does it sound as though Christ is speaking to weak Christians? Christ was speaking to His disciples. Some would say that Christ was only speaking to His disciples and no one else, but that’s not true. I am a first hand witness to the same type of power that Christ endowed His disciples with. God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Many Christians today stay perpetual “babes” and are never weaned from the “milk” of the Word, because they don’t want to sacrifice the time and effort it takes to gain knowledge and understanding of the scriptures and experience the presence of God.

I have been in a situation where I started praying fervently, asking God for a specific answer, and I no more than got the words out of my mouth and the phone rang with the exact answer I was praying for, not something in general, but a very specific response from a specific person, and it came right then and there!

The Word tells us,

“…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” James 5:16

How often do we see saints gather together today and pray effectual fervent prayers?

Let me answer that question for you. In most “churches” today, if someone prayed fervently during a congregational prayer, he/she would likely be asked to leave the meeting. Pastors and leaders today find such prayers disruptive. In fact, they don’t even want the Spirit of the Lord to manifest in the churches, because they would find the Holy Spirit disruptive! Read Acts 2 and ask yourself what the response would be from most if the Holy Spirit manifested in the same manner at your church through some who were dedicated to God?  

Churches today aren’t experiencing healing, answers to their prayers, or the “tangible” (when you can feel Him near) presence of the Lord, because they are so “tight” and “locked up.” They find such manifestations disruptive. God’s presence is not there either, where the Holy Spirit isn’t welcome.

The Lord wants the gathering of His saints to be intense with praise, prayer and the power of His presence, so healing and miracles can take place when people are sick, enabling the saints to retain power for service at all times, not just in church, but everywhere they go, having the power to witness and testify of the goodness of the Lord and minister His gospel at every opportunity.

In other words, we are supposed to be an extension of the early Church. They gathered in their homes; the meetings were not so formal that the presence of the Lord wasn’t welcome. They feared God and there was, without a doubt, reverence for God in their meetings, but if someone received a Word from God and had a prophetic message to give, they felt uninhibited to give that message. God had the preeminence in their meetings.

One example: When Paul sailed to Syria and stopped at Tyre, gathering with disciples there, they warned Paul not to proceed to Jerusalem, as he planned. Paul stayed with them for seven days and departed and stopped also in Caesarea. Philip, an evangelist there, had four daughters who prophesied. Then a prophet came to them from Judaea, whose name was Agabus. Agabus took the liberty to take Paul’s girdle and he bound his hands and feet with it and he prophesied, “The Holy Spirit says this, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this girdle and shall deliver him into the hands of Gentiles.” Then they all pleaded with Paul not to go to Jerusalem. Paul asked them why they wept and broke his heart? He said he was ready not only to be bound, but to die for the name of the Lord Jesus!

How many of us today are ready to lay down our lives for Christ? Most “preachers” and “Christians” are even ashamed of the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit; how on earth can they be ready to die for the Lord?

I pray that everyone reading this message, and the preceding three, gain an understanding of what God intends to happen in our gatherings that we call “church services.”

There is freedom where the presence of the Lord is and saints are not restrained from praying effectual fervent prayers, lifting their hands in praise, or giving a prophetic message to the congregation, when the Lord speaks to His prophets.

“…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” 2 Corinthians 3:17

If you attend a church where you feel inhibited to praise the Lord out loud, or lift up your hands to God in praise, you are in the wrong place, friend! Find a church where the truth of God’s Holy Word is taught and where the saints are free to manifest the power of God when He comes upon them.

As you can see in the fourth peacock constellation (above), the feathers have dwindled to only three, with the head, the Lord, present. The manifest presence of the Holy Spirit and the effectual fervent prayers of a few saints caused all those whose hearts weren’t right before God to leave, all those who attend church to be entertained, all those who spend time gossiping about others, all those who are judgmental, all who are inhibited to praise the Lord, all who spend little to no time in prayer daily. Just three people remained with the presence of the Lord, Who is the head of His Bride.

If you aren’t already so inclined, I pray that you set your heart and mind to seeking the Lord with all of your heart, mind and strength; praying and fasting (if you are able) for God’s will to be done and that the Holy Spirit of liberty, praise and worship fill your churches – to the point where you can literally feel the overwhelming Almighty presence of God.

Who Is the Bride of Christ? – Part 3

There are two preceding messages to this one, this being the third message the Lord gave me, after showing me three variations of a constellation in the form of a peacock, which represents the Bride of Christ, the great “speckled bird” (Jeremiah 12:9).

Central to this message, and the preceding ones, is how the Lord arranged the peacock constellations to portray the spiritual condition of many churches today, in these last days.

Again, with this third message, the Lord rearranged the peacock relative to His position in many churches today.

The Word tells us that Christ is the head of the church:

“And He is before all things and by Him all things consist; and He is the head of the body, the Church, Who is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead (by His resurrection), that in all things He might have the preeminence” Colossians 1:17-18

We need to “hone in” on that last statement, “that in all things He might have the preeminence,” because that is the theme of this third message.

I attend early morning holy convocations with the Lord daily, and also during a set time in the evening each day. During these holy convocations, I frequently look out of my landscape window facing the east, and one facing the west at certain times, as I sing praises and hymns, and then pray before the Lord. During these appointments, the Lord has given me visions and He has shown me signs, wonders (Luke 21:11) and constellations, which include messages.

On March 30, 2020, during the evening holy convocation, I noticed that the Lord, for the second time, rearranged a peacock constellation that I had been observing for a number of weeks. This time, not only was Christ not in the position of the head (having the preeminence), but He was positioned totally on the outside, to the right of the peacock constellation. He is for the right, holiness; but many churches today have moved to the left, liberal – sinful.

This peacock constellation represents the Church, the Bride of Christ (Matthew 25:1; John 3:29), and during the first arrangement (below), Christ was positioned at the head, but His star was small, smaller than big Joe’s, to the far right, a deacon, who started to run that church because he is wealthy.

During the second arrangement (below), the Lord laid all the peacock feathers down, in the form of submission to Christ, and He was in His rightful place, at the head of that Church. The second message (Part 2) also provided the characteristics of the real Body of Christ, which are the charitable attributes of God (1 Corinthians 13).

This third constellation, as we look at the new arrangement (below), is very troubling. The peacock’s feathers are all standing up beautifully, but Christ, the largest star to the right, is totally outside of the peacock constellation, and He sets at the right, completely alienated from the “body.”

In the Spirit, the Lord revealed to me that many churches today have become beautifully adorned, rich and well liked; but Christ has been taken so out of context in those churches, so He will not stay in them; His presence has gone out of those churches. They are “politically correct;” they will not warn people to beware of worldliness, the lust of the flesh, against the sins of idolatry, adultery, fornication, the pride of life, or any such sin, and least of all, they refuse to mention the word “hell,” or call anyone to repentance! Basically, they leave out half of the teachings of Christ, the ones people don’t want to hear, and they refuse to call anyone to repentance, which is what Christ always did. So, Christ does not have the preeminence in those churches, therefore, He will not inhabit those places; they are foreign to Him; He disowns them – unless they repent.

In their “political correctness,” they have gone so far as to embrace homosexuality, transgenderism, divorce and remarriage… Basically, their message is that the church must “progress,” conform to the world, which is the opposite of God’s message to the church:

“And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2

The Word also tells us,

“Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever” Hebrews 13:8

The Lord does not “progress” in His ways.

Transgenderism and homosexuality are running to the forefront of a fallen, chaotic world today, where the principalities and rulers of the darkness of this world have dominion (Ephesians 6:12), and many of the mainstream “Christian” churches are accepting these lifestyles in their churches today; but God has never accepted them, nor will He ever accept them!

The Word tells us that when God gives people over to a reprobate mind (irredeemable, without hope of salvation), they turn and lust after the same sex, which is one of the signs of those given over to satan, because they refuse the truth:

“For this cause God gave them up to vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use (of men) into that which is against nature; and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is indecent, receiving the recompense of their deception, which is mandatory (like AIDS). And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting” Romans 1:26-28 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

Homosexuality and transgenderism are an abomination in the eyes of God:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators (unlawful sexual sins), nor idolaters (idolizing people or things above God), nor adulterers (promiscuous in marriage), nor effeminate (men acting like women), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (men committing fornication with other men)” 1 Corinthians 6:9

These (above) are New Testament scriptures, which further substantiate what God said in the Old Testament.

God also said,

“You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is an abomination” Leviticus 18:22

Again, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” He doesn’t change/progress with the times, or concede to the lust of vile people who refuse to serve God, or even acknowledge Him!

Beware, Church, lest you end up as any one of these peacocks, lost and undone without even recognizing it, and end up in hell (Mark 9:43-50)!

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Who Is the Bride of Christ? – Part 2

On March 3, 2020, I published a message titled Who Is the Bride of Christ? (https://sermonsfromgod.wordpress.com/2020/03/03/who-is-the-bride-of-christ/). The Lord showed me a constellation in the sky during the morning holy convocation. It was a constellation of a peacock and from that astronomical sign (Jeremiah 10:2; Daniel 6:27), He gave me the message, Who Is the Bride of Christ?

Since that time, on March 15, 2020, the Lord rearranged the peacock constellation, and instead of its feathers being spread out, He laid the peacock’s feathers down, as depicted in the drawing above, and He gave me a continuation (Part 2) to the first message.

Male peacocks, which depict the Bride of Christ in this constellation, have long, colorful, iridescent tails, the most lustrious among all pheasants. Each feather has “eye” markings on them, and this is a significant trait, among others, in comparing the peacock to the Church; and I will summarize the traits of this great “speckled bird” (Jeremiah 12:9) below:

Peacocks eat snakes, even poisonous snakes. The Bride of Christ, the Church, needs to always devour the snake (satan) in the name of Jesus. God has given us that authority.

“Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” Luke 10:19

The Church has not only become complacent about her commission, but she has greatly fallen into such apostasy today that she largely doesn’t even believe in the gifts of the Spirit for the Church today, as if they were only given to the apostles, and then died out from the earth after that.

The only thing dying in that regard is the Church, not the gifts of the Spirit of the living God!

Female peacocks (peahens) are such watchful caretakers, they only leave their incubating eggs once a day to find nourishment. With regard to caring for the Church, Jesus said to Peter repeatedly, “Do you love Me? Feed My sheep.”

“When they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, you know I love You. He said to Him, Feed My lambs. He said to him again, the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know I love You. He said to him, Feed My sheep. He said to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me? Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, Do you love Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep” John 21:15-17.

I was appalled recently when I sat in a church service among members of the oldest Pentecostal Church in America, established in the early 1900s, and the District Overseer said, “We aren’t here to feed you!”

Peacocks like warm climate. People will thrive and the Church will gain new members when there is a warm climate, the Spirit of love and compassion in the Church.

“That there should be no more schism in the body (of Christ), but that members should have the same care for one another; and whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ and members in particular” 1 Corinthians 12:25-27

Peacocks shed their feathers every summer. The Word of God tells us to be “renewed” at regular intervals, lest we become weak and have no effect.

“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is renewed day by day” 2 Corinthians 4:16 NKJV

“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind” Ephesians 4:23

We have to stay in the Word, in prayer and in fellowship with the Lord and other saints to stay renewed (2 Timothy 3:16).

Every section of a peacock’s feather changes color when the light strikes it from different angles. We, as ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), are to be flexible and always available to do good works.

“Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine” 2 Timothy 4:2

“With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love” Ephesians 4:2

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man has a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do you” Colossians 3:13

Peacocks are very social and friendly to those they are familiar with, but they do not allow strangers in their territory and they travel in groups. The Church is to be warm and welcoming, but if any are contrary and continue in sin, which work to defile the Church as a whole, we are instructed to reprove such a person and avoid them, for the sake of the flock (members of the Church).

“It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have (sleep with) his father’s wife. You are puffed up (proud) and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken way from among you…purge out therefore the old leaven (sin among you), that you may be a new lump (using bread as an example), as you are unleavened (without sin), for even Christ, our Passover, is sacrificed for us (Christ has purged us from sin)” 1 Corinthians 5:1-2, 7

Peacocks are depressed alone, heartbroken. The Church is admonished to gather regularly, especially in the last days, to encourage and strengthen one another.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the day (the Day of the Lord) approaching” Hebrews 10:25

These traits say volumes about how the Bride of Christ, the Church, is living far beneath her calling today.

The first peacock (Church) God showed me in heaven was proud and lifted up, and even lifted herself up above Christ, giving heed to seducing spirits (1 Timothy 4:1).

The second peacock (Church) that the Lord showed me, as depicted in the drawing above, just as the Lord assembled it in heaven, shows the Church following behind Christ, with feathers laid down and humble toward the ground, submitting themselves wholly to God, and not lifting themselves up above Him.

The “eyes” at the top of the feathers are indicative of the watchful eyes of the Lord and His Church, for we are to “watch and pray,” lest we be taken unaware by the enemy of our souls in these last days, perilous times.

“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” Matthew 26:41

“Watch, therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape (in the “catching up,” or rapture [1 Thessalonians 4:16-18]) all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man” Luke 21:36

“Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord, when He comes, shall find watching; verily I say unto you, that He shall gird Himself and make them to sit down to meat and will come forth and serve them” Luke 12:37

* Did you notice in the constellation (above), that Christ, the head of the Church, is positioned down at the level of the feathers? That is because He condescends to us of low estate (Romans 12:16), and He serves us, being the head of the body (Luke 22:26-27). We are to be like Him.

We, as members of the Lord’s body, He being the head, must emulate Christ. What shall we do to follow Him?

We must stay in the Word of God, and not follow after the rudiments of men (Colossians 2:8); we must be prayerful and watching for the Lord’s return at all times, for He said He is coming in an hour when we don’t think He is coming:

“Therefore, be also ready, for in such an hour as you think not, the Son of Man will come” Matthew 24:44

And always call souls to repentance, as Christ did.

Who Is the Bride of Christ?

The Lord recently showed me a “peacock” constellation in the sky during the morning holy convocation, and from that constellation, He gave me the message below:

The Word of God makes reference to His people as being a “speckled bird:”

“My heritage is to Me as a speckled bird; the birds round about are against her. Come, you, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour” Jeremiah 12:9

Jeremiah began a prayer (Jeremiah 12), and then began to prophesy against Israel during his prayer, as he was led by the Holy Spirit, because of Israel’s sins.

This “speckled bird” signifies God’s heritage, His people, and today also identifies the church, who is referred to as the “bride of Christ.”

When the prophets spoke of God’s “heritage,” or “His people,” the bride of Christ is included, just as much as Israel, in that we are grafted into the “olive branch,” Israel, once we are born again in Christ Jesus (Romans 11:11-19), and we are also God’s heritage, His people.

The “speckled bird” is the bride of Christ (John 3:29), the church, and all nations flow into it; hence, it is a “speckled” bird. Nevertheless, many who claim to be the “bride of Christ” have fallen asleep spiritually, and they aren’t even aware of it (Matthew 25).

The peacock that the Lord showed me in the sky is very much like many churches today (see the detailed description below):

The head of the peacock, indicated by the star in the middle, is Christ and He should be the greatest star; but as you can see, He isn’t given any more regard than the other stars (members of the church). Christ should be the head and the largest star; but the largest star (on the left) happens to be big Joe, a deacon perhaps, whose pockets are deep, and he actually runs the church, not Christ, not even the pastor. Next to big Joe is little Mary, who is somewhat ostracized in the church, because her husband is gone, her children are a bit unruly, and she’s so sensitive (tearful and prayerful) that she is a bit uncomfortable to be around, so the members try to avoid her as much as they can, especially on potluck Sundays, because the only thing she wants to do is pray and study the Bible. Notice, the peacock (the church) has her left foot forward, indicative that she is a “liberal” church, not meek and holy, even as Christ is holy, or following the “ancient paths” (Jeremiah 18:15).

Oh yes, there are frequent potlucks, because the church is very much inclined to gather and entertain themselves as much as they can; organizers keep the calendar full of delightful events.

What’s that? Do we minister to souls in the park? Well, we have to make certain our members have plenty of activities and that the children all have a good time. No, we aren’t ministering to the lost in parks, but there are some other charitable organizations that help the poor in our community, and we support missionaries. Pardon me? Do we witness, leaving a “God bless you” with the grocery clerk, as we leave the store, or maybe even hand her a gospel track with that “God bless you?” No, we don’t pass out gospel tracks at our church. Let’s just say they aren’t “seeker friendly;” in fact, they can be very offensive to some people outside the church.

Did Jesus tell us to only witness truth and light to those who will receive our testimonies and gospel tracts gladly? He actually said,

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19

Why should members of the church only support missionaries, but not even witness to those all around them? Should we evangelize other countries, yet leave those all around us to be lost souls?

Jesus also said,

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My Words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man (Jesus) also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels” Mark 8:38

The Word also tells us,

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth praises of Him, Who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9

If Christ isn’t at the head of your church, if He isn’t first above all things, and if your main priority isn’t winning lost souls for Christ, you are not included in the “bride of Christ.”

“The Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him who hears say, Come; and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely” Revelation 22:17


Headlines today read, “Anyone but Trump,” and articles relay how “evangelicals” are voting for Democrats, because they refuse to vote for Trump. It is of no consequence if you are someone who doesn’t particularly like President Donald Trump for some reason; albeit, he lifts up the name of our God more than any president in history. If you have any inclination to vote for a Liberal-Progressive-Socialist-Marxist-Communist (all the same), BABY KILLING (every Democratic candidate supports after birth “abortions,” actually BABY MURDER!), First and Second Amendment destroying, promoters of homosexual sex “education” in public schools (explicit step-by-step instructions in sodomy to little 10-year-olds!), Liberal Luciferian Lunatic Democrat, and continue to define yourself as a Christian, an evangelical Christian no less, you will find out on Judgment Day just who you are in the eyes of God, as your hind end hits the flames of hell. There is such a thing as guilt by association and especially support!

Backsliding Starts with Compromise


As I read 1 Kings during my Bible study time, I contemplated how incredible it was that God appeared to Solomon and spoke things to him, which came to pass, prosperity and wisdom; yet amidst all of the miraculous things that the Lord God did for Solomon, even appearing to him twice (1 Kings 11:9), he backslid and departed from the ways of the Lord and he built altars for pagan gods!

Can you believe it?

I thought, if Solomon saw God, not only once, but twice, and he still turned his back on God, how in the world can anyone else hold out and be faithful to the Lord? There is a “key;” please read on…

As I read, I was astonished, and I questioned the Lord, “How in the world could Solomon turn his back on You after all You did for him; giving him wisdom, kingship, riches, gold, silver, splendor, huge houses (1 Kings 7) and men from all over the world came to hear of his wisdom (1 Kings 4)?

The Lord answered me as soon as the question proceeded from my lips, “Incremental compromise.”

God’s answer sunk deep into my soul and the wisdom of His answer saturated my being. Of course, God holds all wisdom, and I knew that was the perfect response.

The Word tells us,

“If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally and does not upbraid, and it shall be given to him” James 1:5

If we study the entire Word of God, the keys to living a God-ly life can all be found, as we pray for them.

The Word of the Lord tells us not even to go near the door of compromise:

“The lips of a strange woman drop as honeycomb and her mouth is smoother than oil…Remove your way far from her and come not near the door of her house” Proverbs 5:3, 8

“But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner – not even to eat with such a person” 1 Corinthians 5:11

“Be not deceived; evil communications corrupt good manners 1 Corinthians 15:33

These are just a few; I could go on and on, because there are many such passages of scripture, which many Christians today fail to recognize. As in the case of Solomon, neither did many of the people of God adhere to such warnings throughout Biblical history.

The people of God are so much surrounded by wicked influences in the world that instead of admitting their compromises and departing from them, they choose rather to twist the doctrine of the ancient Word of God to conform to their compromising, such as believing Calvinism and acceptance of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) lifestyles…

These doctrines create monsters, such as Jim Jones and David Koresh.

The Word of God calls us the children of God, and to be separate from the world:

“Do not love the world, or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” 1 John 2:15

“Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ, as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to former lusts in your ignorance; but as He Who has called you is holy, so be holy in all manner of conversation, because it is written, Be holy, for I Am holy” 1 Peter 1:13-16

We can take a look at the public school system in America as a prime example of the incremental departure from God. When schools were first instituted in America, the Holy Bible was used to teach the Word of God, prayer, English, writing, the ways of God, morality… In the early 60s, the liberals, Liberal Luciferian Lunatics (LLLs) tossed the Word of God and prayer out of the schools; and brought in evolution, the monkey charts, and sex education; then abortions and sexually transmitted diseases soared after that.

You only need to look up some 60s photos of families and music, and compare those with the radical homosexual, transgender, baby killing, drug and alcohol saturated society we see today, to understand the affect those changes had on society and the youth today.

Now, if all Christians, who possibly could, had suddenly removed their children from the public schools when God, the Bible and prayer were kicked out, which would have made quite an impact in those days, the public schools would have taken a major step backward to the right path; but the sheeple COMPROMISED.

Now see what the incremental compromise did to society through the public school system:

Billie Eilish is only 17, and is hailed by media as a “generational icon” and called “the most talked about teenager on the planet.” The opening line in her song is, “My Lucifer is lonely.”

There are plenty of folks who seek only to find passages of scripture that say God loves us; He died for us; His mercy endures forever; and these are all very true. Nevertheless, if people seek only to sift out from the entire Word of God only those scriptures, and ignore the WARNINGS, they are foolish, unwise, and they will depart from the ways of God in the end, if they continue on that path, for the Word tells us,

“But he who ENDURES to the END shall be SAVED” Matthew 10:22

“Blessed is the man who ENDURES temptation; for when he is tried, he shall receive a crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” James 1:12

“There is no temptation uncommon to man; but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able to endure, but with the temptation, He will also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it” 1 Corinthians 10:13

We are living through God’s testing ground on earth, because God will only bring into His Kingdom those who have been FAITHFUL; He will not suffer sinners to enter into the Kingdom of God:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (transgenders), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuals), nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Can I say anymore than that? God has called us to be HOLY; He has called us to be SEPARATE FROM THE WORLD.

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). TEN VIRGINS

A Closer Look At the Five Virgins Left Behind

Jesus taught the Parable of Ten Virgins, a warning to the saints approaching the end of days, our generation.

This parable reminds us to be diligent and keep our eyes open for the Lord’s return in the latter days; but I would like to take more of an in depth look at the parable, as it applies to the church and the issues/temptations facing the saints today. We have things going on in the world today that weren’t even heard of in Christ’s day, so we need to address them.

The Word tells us,

“Pray without ceasing” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Does that mean to pray nonstop? No, but it does mean to pray persistently. It means prayer should be the first thing we do in an emergency. Prayer should be the first thing we do at the onset of illness, not after it’s full blown, not after all of the doctors have given up, not after we have tried everything else under the sun. We need to get God’s attention first at the onset of every emergency, every sickness, every problem, every care, and every situation in life, which means we need to start the day in prayer. That is essential, and we need to pray throughout the day at every opportunity, if for no other reason than to give thanks and pray against trials and tribulation, before satan even has a chance to attack us. More importantly, we need to stay very close to the Lord in these last days and we can only develop an intimate relationship with Him through prayer.

Jesus told us,

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be; and except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved, but for the elect’s sake (the Church, ‘the Bride of Christ’), those days shall be shortened…For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” Matthew 24:21-22, 24

The closer we stay to our Lord and Savior, the greater our faith, our spiritual strength and protection against attacks from the enemy.

Every one of us need to ask ourselves how much time we spend on the phone, the computer and watching television; and we at least need to compare that time with how much time we spend in prayer and the study of God’s Holy Word.

This is where the saints are most vulnerable. There are so many functions available on phones and computers today, and there are so many things to watch on television for entertainment, it’s easy to get caught up in these futile activities.

God is watching; He is comparing and weighing in the balances everything we do pertaining to this world, versus perhaps the scant amount of time we have left over for Him.

God doesn’t accept second best. God doesn’t accept the apple core, after we have eaten the apple. God doesn’t accept what is left over, folks; in fact, God demands the firstfruits of our lives, or we are in a heap of trouble.

Israel’s Feast of Firstfruits is a type and shadow of Christ being the firstfruit of the Resurrection. It is also a type and shadow of our obligation to present ourselves a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service (Romans 12:1). We cannot be part of the resurrection if we have not died out to self (Romans 6:8).

Do you lie down in the evening exhausted, falling asleep without a prayer? It is equally important to pray before going to sleep.

The Word tell us,

“Be angry and sin not; let not the sun go down on your wrath” Ephesians 4:26

The message here is to make certain things are cleared up before you go to sleep at night. You might have had a quarrel, a fight, and said harsh/hurtful things. Paul’s admonition here to the Church at Ephesus demonstrates the wisdom of God. Statistics show that more than 10 percent (1 in 8) die in their sleep. Can you imagine saying hateful things to a loved one, going to sleep, and never waking up, never having the opportunity to apologize and make things right with that person and God?

Not only is there a chance we might not live to settle matters, but the risk is doubled with the possibility that our loved one, to whom we may owe an apology, might not see another day.

It is vital to pray in the evening and make certain that all matters are settled before the Lord – everything.

The saints generally gather often, at least once, if not several times a week. It is important to consider what our motives are when we gather together. If the main focus is: when is the next potluck, raffle, park day, barbecue; we are in trouble spiritually.

The Word tells us,

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the day approaching” Hebrews 10:24-25

*Children need entertainment and incentive to learn, so I am making no reference to gatherings planned for the sake of youth and little children. They need to have fun while they learn; otherwise, the things of God can be dreadful for them. Paul said that when he was a child he spoke and acted like a child (1 Corinthians 13:11). So, this principle applies to adults, not the activities planned for children.

Every one of us needs to ask ourselves what we are looking forward to in the House of God. Are we checking out what others are wearing, who is able to sit in the most favorable seats, who will be called upon to sing and administer in the church, what is the latest on “so and so,” who was quite the spectacle last week…?

If we aren’t gathering together with our hearts focused on worship, learning the Word of God, understanding who might be sick, or has trials/needs, in order to pray for them, then we are in deep trouble spiritually.

My mind is suddenly taken back to the Brownsville Revival, otherwise know as the Pensacola Outpouring, when more than four million people attended nightly revival meetings at the Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida, for five years straight, from 1995 to 2000!

I heard a message preached by the pastor of that church, John Kilpatrick, about how the revival started in their church. He said that preceding the revival, he started prayer meetings regularly at the church, at which time the members gathered together and prayed in one accord for the church and its various functions, one subject at a time. They prayed for revival for about two years before it actually began on Father’s Day, June 18, 1995.

Once revival broke out, miracles began to happen. People were healed and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was like it was on the Day of Pentecost in the Upper Room (Acts 2)! People from all over the world came flooding into that revival, about four million souls!

This is the kind of church the Lord is coming for shortly, “without spot or wrinkle” (Ephesians 5:27), one on fire for God, certainly not one “sleeping” over the things of this world.

From what I have written here, I believe there are two very distinct groups identified among the “Ten Virgins.” We need to identify which group we are in and make amends with God, if necessary, unless we want to be left behind!

Bear in mind, as you read the passage below, that “oil” throughout the scriptures represents the Spirit of God.

Jesus said:

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the Bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them (they were not filled with the Spirit of God); the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the Bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. At midnight, a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the Bridegroom is coming; go out to meet Him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you, but go rather to those who sell and buy for yourselves;’ and while they went to buy, the Bridegroom came and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding, and the door was shut. Afterward, the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch, therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming” Matthew 25:1-13

COMPLETE SURRENDER

“And having summoned the multitude along with His Talmidim (disciples), Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach (Teacher, King Messiah) said to them, ‘If anyone wishes to follow after Me, let him make denial of himself and take up his etz shel hakarav atzmo (tree of self sacrifice) and follow Me’” Mark 8:34 OJB (Orthodox Jewish Bible)

Jesus made His will clear, “Let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”

The problem with many “Christians” today is they take scriptures from the Bible, here and there, and they come up with their own interpretations of selective scriptures, then they combine them together, and ultimately come up with a twisted doctrine of what they want to believe the Word of God says, to fit in with their worldly lifestyles!

That isn’t how it works, friends.

The Word of God tells us,

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation” 2 Peter 1:20

The Word must be interpreted by reading all and considering all of the surrounding scriptures, for the Word of God also tells us,

“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman who needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth” 2 Timothy 2:15

“Rightly dividing the Word of Truth” means to compare scripture with scripture, and pray for spiritual discernment while interpreting God’s Holy Word.

This is why God ordained ministers, prophets and teachers to speak His Word to people, because many would otherwise interpret it ignorantly, in their own way. Anyone is capable of interpreting God’s Word, if they would surrender all and pray.

Because we are living in such an evil generation, in the last days, there are many “preachers,” and even some self-ordained “prophets,” who ignorantly interpret the Word of God, telling people lies to fit their own agenda.

The Word tells us,

“For the time will come (and is right now) when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears” 2 Timothy 4:3

People today flock to big churches where the preachers tell them exactly what they want to hear, because if they speak the truth, many of the members would walk out the door.

There are multitudes of “pastors” today who are withholding the truth, because the people refuse to hear it, and ministers are afraid of losing their tithes and offerings.

Jesus said,

“If anyone wishes to follow after Me, let him make denial of himself and take up his etz shel hakarav atzmo (tree of self sacrifice) and follow Me” Mark 8:34 OJB

Self sacrifice?

Yes!

If people want to be real Christians, they must deny their own will, and rather follow the perfect will of God. Our lives are no longer our own, but we are bought with a very high price:

“What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? You are bought with a price (the most precious blood of Jesus Christ); therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

There are multitudes who continue to live in willful sin, after they have repented and declared Jesus is their Savior, and they are not living the new life of one who has been born again. This doctrine is called Calvinism – once you are saved, you’re always saved, no matter what sins you continue to commit.

That theology doesn’t fit with the entire Bible.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17

If you are still living the same old sinful life you lived before claiming salvation in Christ Jesus, you are lying to yourself and you are deceived.

What is it you say? Your preacher told you that once you repent, no matter how much you sin after that, you are still saved, you will always be saved, and nothing “shall be able to separate us from the love of God…” (Romans 8:39).

That passage of scripture is referring to the trials Paul endured as a minister of the gospel; it had nothing to do with living in sin. In fact, if people will just read the entire Book of Romans, instead of picking out bits and pieces from it, they can fully understand what Paul is saying. Paul clarifies the will of God concerning the issue of self denial in chapter 6:

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death (dying to one’s self)? Therefore we are buried with him (our old selves are dead) by baptism into death (this is what baptism signifies), that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life; for if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection, knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin; for he that is dead (to himself) is freed from sin. Now if we are dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him” Romans 6:1-8

Anyone who doesn’t understand this, doesn’t want to understand for the convenience of self will and a desire to keep sinning, which many people do in the Christian community today.

Albeit, they will have a big shock on the Day of Judgment! There is a difference between failing the Lord at particular times in our lives, repenting, and getting back up to fight the “good fight of faith” (2 Timothy 4:7), as Paul described it; versus living in continuous willful sin, yet proclaiming it is covered by the precious blood of Jesus! What a sham!

The Word of God tells us the truth about the precious blood of Jesus, in that situation, also:

“For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries” Hebrews 10:26-27

In other words, if one continues in willful sin, the precious blood of Jesus is no longer offered a covering for willful sins; it is only applied to those who have a heart that surrenders to and desires to follow Jesus, who was without sin. If the heart continues in the corruption of sin, His blood doesn’t apply there. No one will be able to trample the precious blood of Jesus with continuous willful sin; there is no more sacrifice for that individual’s sins. Instead, that person should look fearfully for judgment and the fiery indignation (hell) that is reserved for them (Hebrews 10:27)!

Calvinism says we have to sin; no one was sinless, but Jesus.

The answer to that is some continue willfully in sin; but others do not intend to sin, but rather fall down on occasion and repent.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN THESE TWO LIFESTYLES.

Some say we have to sin every day.

Really?

Let me ask you this question (the Lord asked me this question when I presented the allegation to Him), if the doctor tells you that you are deathly allergic to peanuts, eat one and you will die; are you ever going to touch a peanut?

If the doctor (many of them are agnostic) tells you, in fact, you will die if you eat a list of items that you are allergic to, are you ever going to eat even one of those foods on that list?

No, you wouldn’t dare, because you believe the words of the agnostic doctor and you want to live!

The Word of God tells us,

“…The soul that sins shall die” Ezekiel 18:4

When Almighty God tells us something, many don’t believe it!

Yes, we know that the blood of Jesus covers our sins, so we are forgiven.

Nevertheless, His blood is no longer a sacrifice for those who continue in willful sin (trampling His precious blood underfoot!), according to Hebrews 10:26.

What will you do on Judgment Day about that problem, willful sinner, who claims to be a “Christian?”

תשעה באב – Tisha B’Av – 9th of Av

Today is the 9th day of Av on the Hebrew calendar and it is a day of fasting and mourning for the Jews, a day of remembrance for the Jewish people, because throughout history many terrible things have happened to them on that exact day.

The following is a summary of horrible events that befell the Jews on the 9th of Av throughout history:

Destruction of Solomon’s Temple on the 9th of Av, 587 BC SOLOMON'S TEMPLE

Destruction of the Second Temple on the 9th of Av, 70 AD SECOND TEMPLE

The Romans killed about 580,000 Jews pursuant to the Bar Kokhba Revolt on the 9th of Av, 135 AD BAR KOKHBA REVOLT

According to the Mishnah (Oral Torah), the 12 spies sent by Moses to spy out the land of Canaan, returned with a majority bad report on the 9th of Av, while only Joshua and Caleb encouraged the Hebrews to fight for the land, as God instructed them to do. The people, however, cried out in fear that they would be destroyed, and they rather believed the bad report from 10 of the spies, than to obey the Word of God. Therefore, they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years and were not allowed to enter into the Promised Land, until that unbelieving generation died, except for Joshua and Caleb, who believed God. Joshua and Caleb were the only two of that generation that were allowed to enter the Promised Land, along with the next generation. According to the Mishnah, it was on the 9th of Av that the Hebrews cried out in disbelief and refused to enter the Promised Land, because they heard a bad report about how big the Nephilim (sons of the fallen angels) were:

If the chosen people of God have suffered such horror and destruction on the exact same day of their disobedience, time and time again, how is it that most of the world doesn’t even believe in Almighty God, the Creator of all things?

How much more will people suffer who have rejected the Son of God, Jesus, Who sacrificed Himself to pay the penalty for our sins?

Many “Christians” who have received Jesus do not adhere to the Lord’s commandments. How shall they get away with disobedience, when the Jews have suffered so much for their disobedience?

“For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness” 1 Thessalonians 4:7

He who takes not his cross and follows after Me is not worthy of Me” Matthew 10:38

Is anyone who is “not worthy of Christ” going to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven?

Don’t even think it!

What does “take his cross” mean? It means denying yourself the pleasures of sin, worldliness, the lust of the flesh and appeasing the flesh, but following after Christ’s example.

The Word of God tells us there is no sacrifice for those who commit willful sin:

“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins” Hebrews 10:26

In other words, if one deliberately continues in the sins they have repented of, the blood of Jesus, the “sacrifice,” no longer covers, or atones for those sins, if one refuses to make every effort to stop committing sin.

God has made us conquerors over sin and the lust of the flesh:

“This I say then, walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh” Galatians 5:16

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. The world passes away and the lust thereof, but he that does the will of God abides forever” 1 John 2:15-17

Let there be no mistake about who is a Christian, and who is not a Christian:

“He (Jesus) is the propitiation (sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says, I know Him, and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” 1 John 2:2-4

Will anyone who is a liar enter the Kingdom of God? Here is what the Word of God says about that:

But the fearful, unbelieving, the abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire, which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” Revelation 21:8

“I saw the dead, small and great (social status), stand before God and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life, and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works; and the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged every man according to their works; and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death, and whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:12-15

Let there be no mistake, all who fulfill the lusts of their flesh and follow after worldliness and sin will end up in the lake of fire forever, with no reprieve.

If God’s wrath fell on the Jews, on the same day throughout history, how much more will He judge those who have rejected His Son and trample underfoot the blood of Christ, the sacrifice paid for the remission of our sins?

The Word of God tells us,

“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden underfoot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” Hebrews 10:29

This is actually what transpires when people who have received Jesus continue in sin and bring a reproach upon His Most Holy Name.

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Among the tribes of Israel, fathers blessed their children before leaving this world, placing their hands upon their heads and saying blessings over them; grandfathers did the same for their grandchildren.

Ephraim was the youngest of Joseph’s two sons, but Joseph’s father blessed Ephraim as the firstborn, instead of Manasseh. Even when Joseph tried to place Israel’s right hand on the head of Manasseh, Israel refused, saying,

“…I know it, my son, I know it; he (Manasseh) also shall become a people and he also shall be great, but truly his younger brother (Ephraim) shall be greater than he and his seed shall become a multitude of nations” Genesis 48:19

This was sealed by the Lord, and substantiated later through the Prophet Jeremiah. The Lord said,

“…I am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn” Jeremiah 31:9.

There are a number of implications we can see in the acts of God and the prophecies given.

God preempts everything, and on occasion there are exceptions made which make no sense at all to us, for God looks on the heart of man. We look on the outward appearance; we know how things appear and generally how things should go, but we, through examples given in the scriptures, should never assume the will of God, but rather seek out His will and purpose in all things.

Again, we know that Esau was the firstborn of Isaac’s two sons, and entitled by birth to the greater blessings of the firstborn; nevertheless, God looks on the hearts of men. Esau took his godly heritage for granted and he married Gentile women, which the Hebrews were forbidden to do by God’s Commandment. Jacob, on the other hand, cherished the things of God. As he journeyed to return to his homeland, he even wrestled all night with God for a blessing, to the point that his thigh was injured and he limped after that. To this day, Orthodox Jews do not eat the area of the sinew of the hip, because God touched Jacob’s there. It was a “painful” blessing.

Albeit, God blessed him tremendously, insomuch that He changed Jacob’s name to Israel and an entire nation bears his name to this day!

Are you experiencing a time of “small things?”

Wrestle with God for your blessings! It is always painful, but oh the rewards that follow!

Manasseh was the firstborn; Esau was the firstborn, but neither received the blessings of the firstborn. Their unlikely brethren received the greater blessings because they were willing to pay the price.

David was the most unlikely to be anointed king in the eyes of Jesse, his father, but after the Prophet Samuel saw all of Jesse’s sons, he asked him if had any more sons, because the Lord didn’t choose any of the first seven. Jesse finally fetched David from the fields, who was the youngest, and he shepherded the sheep.

It just so happens that David, among his seven other brothers, played his harp and sang praises unto the Lord. He also trusted the Lord with all of his heart, as demonstrated in his willingness to fight Goliath with nothing but a slingshot, when no one else would.

David also did not despise the day of small things, the times when he had to sit outside for hours every day taking care of sheep in the fields. A lowly job, but one that David did with all of his heart.

When David volunteered to slay Goliath, remember what he said:

“And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him (Goliath); your servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him, for you are but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. And David said unto Saul, Your servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion and a bear and took a lamb out of the flock, and I went out after him and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth; and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard and smote him and slew him. Your servant slew both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion and out of the paw of the bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with you” 1 Samuel 17:32-37

Those who received great blessings longed for the things of God; they sought after God with their whole hearts.

God looks upon the hearts of men; He sees the intentions of the heart, whereas man cannot see or discern.

Are you the unlikely one to be blessed by God, or receive great blessings from God?

Are you the unlikely one to receive the gifts and the calling of God?

Not so, if you are willing to seek God with all of your heart!

God receives the greater glory when He lifts up one who appears to be the least among others, and makes Him great among many!

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength; this is the First Commandment” Mark 12:30

“And you shall seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart” Jeremiah 29:13

“Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering; or he that teaches, on teaching” Romans 12:7

“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord” Psalm 27:14

Prevailing Evil in the Church Today

Many Christians today are not focused on Bible prophecy concerning the Lord’s return. In fact, a lot of what is going on in churches today is a message of “self” and “prosperity.”

How is it that God’s people can get so caught up with what they are going to get and achieve in this life, when Jesus said just the opposite?

Jesus said,

“He who loves his life shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal” John 12:25

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” 1 John 2:15

How much looking after prosperity and gaining worldly possessions do you see in these two scriptures?

Please don’t misunderstand this message. God has already promised to supply our needs; He has not called us to do without:

“My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19

John said,

“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers” 3 John 1:2

God wants His people to be blessed with all that they need in this world, but the Word is clear, we are not to FOCUS on prosperity, or even go out of our way to seek after it.

Jesus instructed us,

“Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” Matthew 6:33

In fact, Jesus made a promise to His people in the above passage of scripture: Seek after God first and He will provide all of your needs.

As we live for God and earnestly seek to perform His will on this earth, such as praying, reading God’s Word, witnessing, gathering together with the saints, giving of our tithes and offerings to support God’s work and help the poor, our focus, especially in these last days, must be on “seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness,” or we stand to be among the five foolish virgins whose oil ran out, thus, they were left behind (Matthew 25). These virgins were not sinners, they were waiting for the bridegroom, but they were foolish and ran out of oil before He arrived.

Many believe that all who say they are Christians will go up in the “catching up,” or “rapture” (the Spanish translation of the words “caught up”), but the rapture is reserved for the “faithful” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18). The “foolish virgins” will have to face martyrdom during the great tribulation (Revelation 20:4).

Are you watching and waiting for the Lord’s return, or are you focused on this world and the things that are in the world?

JESUS THE SHEPHERD

There was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a Jewish ruler, who came to see Jesus at night. He was intrigued by Jesus, because He healed the sick and performed other miracles among the people.

Nicodemus said to Jesus,

“…Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God, for no man can do the miracles that You do, except God is with him” John 3:2

Instead of acknowledging Nicodemus for recognizing that He was from God,

Jesus responded by telling him,

“…Truly, truly, I say to you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God” John 3:3

Nicodemus was perplexed by that comment and he said,

“…How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” John 3:4

If his heart had been right with God, Nicodemus might have had enough spiritual discernment to understand that Jesus referred to a spiritual rebirth, not a natural birth, which, of course, is impossible.

Nicodemus came to Jesus only during the night, because he was ashamed to visit Him during the day, while his Jewish brethren might recognize his faith in Jesus.

Jesus understood Nicodemus’s hypocrisy by the fact that he only came to see Him at night. So, Jesus laid out the conditions, straightforward, to Nicodemus. He, in essence, told him that he must allow God to rule and reign in his life, and he needed to be transformed into a new person, if he wanted to take part in the Kingdom of God.

Beyond repentance and just believing in Jesus, which Nicodemus did, he needed to turn his life over to Jesus and “take up his cross,” which in Hebrew actually means “etz shel hakarav atzmo” (tree of self sacrifice) and “hinnazrut” (self denial) and follow Him (Matthew 16:24).

Nicodemus was holding back; he didn’t even want to be seen with Jesus during the daylight hours. He obviously wasn’t ready to “sell out” to God, turn his life over to the Lord, and surrender all.

Nicodemus rather wanted to please God and his flesh; he wanted to be with Christ and he wanted to experience the supernatural miracles that Jesus did, but he didn’t even want to be seen talking to Him!

Are you ready to “take up your tree of self sacrifice” and follow Jesus, or are you holding back like Nicodemus?

It is vital to understand that in another place Jesus said,

“And he who takes not his cross (tree of self sacrifice) and follows after Me (lives his life to emulate Christ) is not worthy of Me” Matthew 10:38

Is someone who is “not worthy” of Jesus going to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven? Give that some worthy thought.

Jesus Christ just stated here that if a person doesn’t surrender all to the Lord, he is not worthy of Him.

In another place, Jesus said,

“So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot (a hypocrite), I will spew you out of My mouth” Revelation 3:16

Do you believe if Jesus wants to spew someone out of His mouth, that person will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven?

That will never happen, unless the person is “born again;” the old life has passed away and all things have become new in Christ Jesus. The Word says,

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17

That goes way beyond just “hanging your hat” on the name of Jesus and living like you have never met Him.

If you believe you know Jesus, but you don’t know His Word, you haven’t met Him. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Word,

“And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth” John 1:14

If you read magazines, the news, sale advertisements, and dozens of other books, but you have never read the Bible through, not even one time, let alone studied it carefully to actually know and understand what it says, you will face God on Judgment Day.

Most people don’t emulate Christ because they don’t have a clue what the Bible says in its entirety; they have never studied it. It is worthy of much study, because it is our roadmap to eternal life with Christ Jesus!

Have you ever tried to cook from a recipe, but you left out a primary ingredient? That’s very much like reading some scriptures now and then, tossing the Bible aside, while you run into the next room to watch the evening FAKE news, and a movie after that!

Just remember, friends, Jesus said, You must be “born again, or you cannot see the Kingdom of God” John 3:3

If your life hasn’t changed to emulate the life of Jesus, you will be denied on Judgment Day (Matthew 10:38).

We must do our very best for Jesus; but if we sin, the Lord is faithful to forgive us of our sins when we repent (1 John 1:9). We cannot continue in sin willfully (Hebrews 10:26-27) and call ourselves “Christian.”

JESUS HAS HIS ARMS OUTSTRETCHED

This Word from the Lord came to me for someone, or perhaps many who come to the site to be blessed and receive a Word from God.

The Lord brought this passage of scripture, titled above, as I grieved for my precious son, who went on to be with the Lord ahead of me.

At times, I grieve for him as though he left only yesterday. I know he is with the Lord and I know he is happy and blessed, in that I have actually seen him since he went on to be with the Lord, but I just miss him so much it hurts incredibly. The Lord allowed us to visit him since his death during a time of great grief.

Even though the Lord comforted me already about my son’s passing with that profound experience, the devil attacked me one day recently, taunting me because he suffered death at such a young age.

I cried out to the Lord, in my grief, and He brought this passage of scripture to me,

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints” Psalms 116:15

I asked the Lord how the death of His saints could be “precious” in His sight, as they suffer death.

The Lord reminded me that my son did not suffer at death, but rather just fell asleep. This is true; my son never demonstrated a moment of pain, or suffering, when he left this world. Then the Lord also reminded me of scriptures found in the Wisdom of Solomon, which is a book that used to be included in the King James Version of the Bible prior to 1611, when it was removed from later translations. I have read the “Apocrypha, Secret Texts,” which were removed after 1611, and not one of these books contradict the canonized scriptures. I highly recommend them. I was especially blessed when I read II Esdras (written by the Prophet Ezra), and discovered that the Savior’s name, Jesus, is foretold in that book, and the exact number of years before his arrival from the year of the writing (400 BC! Some say it was written in 500 BC, or later, but why contradict the prophecy; it’s too accurate?!) [II Esdras 7:28]

The Wisdom of Solomon says,

“The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God and there shall no torment touch them. In the sight of the unwise, they seem to die, and their departure is taken for misery and their going from us to utter destruction, but they are in peace; for though they be punished in the sight of men, yet is their hope full of immortality” Wisdom of Solomon 3:1-4

The Lord ministered to my heart that the death of the righteous is not at all as it seems. They do not die, as the ungodly die; they do not suffer death, as the ungodly suffer death; and their departure from this world is entirely different than what it appears in the natural.

In fact, I have seen the ungodly die in horror, never in peace; but it is entirely different for the righteous, whom I have seen depart from their fleshly exterior. I have see four depart, and they have all passed from this life in peace.

As the Lord reminded me of the departure of the saints, in comparison to the ungodly, I understood then His answer to my question, How the death of His saints could be “precious” in His sight. It is a blissful homecoming event for the Lord and His saints!

The worst part of the unbeliever’s death is the fear, the terror of dying without salvation. We all suffer at times, whether we are living, or dying; but the worst part of the sinner’s death is the terror of death, an end without God, and no hope of eternal life.

The saints of God have the blessed peace of knowing they are on their way to unspeakable bliss where our Creator is; they understand that they are actually going home and will meet up with loved-ones there, as promised in God’s Holy Word.

There is no comparison between the death of a sinner, and the passing of a saint, folks. 

Jesus said,

“Whoever lives and believes in Me, shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:26

If you have children, now is the time to teach them that one day we all go to God Who gave us life, if we love Him and obey Him. There are times the subject can be approached, even with the very young, such as times when a pet, or loved one passes on. If we don’t teach them, they will die in terror some day, having no hope of eternal life.

My son was homeschooled and we started every day with Bible class throughout his school years. Eternal life was as real to him as this natural existence, and that’s the way God intends for us to raise our children; not to ever hand them over to the ungodly every day for instruction (Deuteronomy 11:18-19). *If you are willing, and pray, God will make a way if there seems to be no way. In the meantime, if your children are attending a public school, teach them at home and pray over them before they leave each day, and God will make a way for you to homeschool, or to place them in Christian school. Trust and obey, and watch God make the way!

God reminded me that when my son left this world, he had the blessed peace of knowing who God is, that he was going to God, at that time, or later, and he had no reason to fear. I never saw a moment of fear on the face of my son. In fact, we sang blessed hymns and praises unto the Lord, and we prayed together only hours before he went on home to be with our Lord and Savior, and our loved ones, who were waiting for him there.

May you give your children and loved ones the same blessed peace in knowing who God is – before it’s too late.

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” Revelation 12:11

John the Revelator saw visions given to him by Jesus, showing him what will come to pass in the last days. Jesus showed John that satan, who presently accuses the brethren (saints of God) before God day and night, will be cast out of heaven during the great tribulation:

“And the great dragon (satan) was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast out into the earth and his (fallen) angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now salvation is come, and strength and the Kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ, for the accuser of our brethren (the saints) has been cast down, who accused them before our God day and night” Revelation 12:9-10

Since the ancient times of Job, when satan accused Job before the Lord (Job 1:6-12), satan has walked to and fro throughout the earth, gathering what he considers to be evidence against the saints of God, and he presents it before the Lord.

The court of God’s throneroom, by the way, is the premise behind our very courts of law in this world today. God sits as judge upon His throne (Isaiah 6:1) and satan is a type of prosecutor, “the accuser of the brethren” (Revelation 12:10); Jesus Christ is a type of defense attorney, our intercessor/advocate (1 John 2:1); it’s all there, and witnesses are described in the Word also.

Jesus said to the scribes and Pharisees, when they asked Him for a sign that He was the awaited Christ,

“The men of Nineveh (a very wicked city that repented of their sins when they heard the Prophet Jonah) shall rise in judgment with this generation and shall condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonas (same as Jonah), and behold, a greater than Jonas is here (speaking of Himself)” Matthew 12:41

There are other similar passages of scripture which refer to witnesses in God’s court (Matthew 12:42).

Just as a stenographer or video operator records court proceedings and testimonies in a courtroom, God keeps books that are written in heaven, which also bear testimony of our deeds here on earth:

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away and there was found no place for them; and I saw the dead, small and great (referring to social status) standing before God, and books were opened (books written of our works – see below), and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades (Hell) delivered up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one according to his works, then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:11-15

Just as certain as their are courts of law in every jurisdiction in this world, where testimonies, evidence, a prosecutor, an advocate/defense attorney, and the judge presides; God Himself will judge all mankind, just as His Holy Word declares it, and there will be many records, testimonies and witnesses in His courtroom!

Our own testimonies on that day will also be pivotal.

Yes, we are saved by the blood of the Lamb and that gift is free; we will also stand in judgment to give an account of what we did with that free gift. Did we trample it with our feet and bring an open reproach to Jesus Christ by our words and our deeds?

“For if we sin willfully, after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins (repentance is needed again, with denouncement of the sin), but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation (unless true repentance is made), which shall devour the adversaries (sinners). He who despised Moses’s law died without mercy under two or three witnesses; of how much sorer punishment, do you suppose, shall he be thought worthy who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace (by continuing in sin)? For we know Him that said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will recompense, says the Lord. And again, the Lord shall judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” Hebrews 10:26-31

The Word of God tells us that we are overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony:

“And they (the saints) overcame him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death” Revelation 12:11

How can a child of God say they love the Lord, but not even be willing to forsake sin, from which he was saved? We must not only be willing to turn away from temptation and sin, but we need to love the Lord enough to lay down our very lives for His Holy Name’s sake!

What is your testimony?

“I got drunk with friends last night?”

“He made me mad, so I cussed him out real good?”

“Every year I go to fantastic places and have a great time during my vacation?”

Or,

“I went to the prayer meeting last night with friends?”

“He made me mad, but I blessed him and told him I forgive him?”

“I take simple breaks during my time off, so I can give more money to help the poor?”

Jesus said,

“Do not lay up treasures for yourself on earth, where moth and rust corrupts and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts and where thieves do not break in and steal” Matthew 6:19-20

Concerning all aspects of your life, what will your testimony be in the court of heaven?

Do you know of anyone who has ever lived forever and never died in this world?

No, there is not one soul who has lived in this world forever, who never faced death, nor God’s judgment thereafter. Neither will any one of us live forever in this world; but we will all face death, and go before God’s throne to be judged for our deeds, unless the rapture/catching up of the saints occurs before that time:

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Are you ready to go when the Lord calls? Will your testimony be pleasing to God, or a reproach to His Most Holy Name?

PRAYING

PRAYER

“…The effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man avails much” James 5:16

Jesus said,

“To this time, you have asked nothing in My name; ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full” John 16:24

Do you find it difficult to pray at times? I remember as a young Christian struggling to pray, trying to determine what I should pray about and how I should pray. I had a difficult time praying back then for more than 10 or 15 minutes, let alone my stated goal of one hour.

I knew the importance of prayer and when an urgent need presented itself, I could pray then; but I have to say that, in general, I didn’t really know how to pray starting out. The Lord taught me through the years.

The Lord laid this message on my heart and I believe, without a doubt, it will help some, who desire a good prayer-life, to structure your prayers, which will help facilitate effectual prayers; the “fervent” part, referring to James 5:16 above, has to do with an individual’s own intensity in prayer.

Structure prayers?

Yes, I said structure.

The Word of God tells us,

“Let all things be done decently and in order” 1 Corinthians 14:40

God is very much a God of order, not “happenchance,” or disarray.

I heard a minister criticize Job during a sermon, even as Job’s “friends” criticized him, finding fault with his sacrifices, his complaints, etc…

Can you believe that?

God Himself said that Job was perfect (Job 1:8). Listen, folks, if God said Job was a perfect man, Job was perfect!

I considered the things Job did, and what Job’s testimony was before God, as he suffered and prayed for relief, because I decided that if God Himself said Job was a perfect man, I had better consider all that Job did, because I strive for perfection, as God’s Word says we should.

“…Be holy, for I Am holy” 1 Peter 1:16

“For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness” 1 Thessalonians 4:7

We can take a lesson from Job in how we should live and pray, in that God Himself said Job was perfect:

“There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God and eschewed evil” Job 1:1

“The Lord said to satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one who fears God and eschews evil?” Job 1:8

There are plenty of other things we could say about Job to expound on his righteousness before God, but for the purpose of this message, let’s focus on Job’s prayer life.

The Word of God tells us,

“There were born to him (Job) seven sons and three daughters…and his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one on his day, and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and drink with them (apparently, they rotated hosting dinners at their homes each day). And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about (at the end of the week), that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings, according to the number of them all, for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts. This Job did continually” Job 1:2,4-5

First, note that Job “rose up early in the morning.” Every saint I know that prays effectively, rises up early in the morning to pray. This gets God’s attention. If that’s impossible for you, because perhaps you work nights, etc., God understands; but if you are at all able to rise early for prayer, God will honor you for that sacrifice alone and for giving Him the “firstfruits” of your day.

Job was the wealthiest man in his region and he seemed to recognize how spoiled his children were, fearing that they might even go so far as to recklessly “curse God in their hearts;” so, Job offered burnt offerings at the end of every week for each one of his children, and he did so “continually.” Job was reliably consistent before God in giving sacrifices in behalf of his children, in case they had sinned.

We don’t sacrifice animals today, but we are called to pray “effectual fervent prayers.” Every saint of God has a responsibility to pray daily for the souls of their family members, especially their children, and for the saints; this is pleasing to God.

The Word of God also instructs us,

“Praying always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” Ephesians 6:18

I have way too many people to pray for each day to actually name them all, one by one, but it is very important that I pray for each one every day. Over time, the Lord has taught me to write down, categorically in a journal, all “FAMILY MEMBERS” and I enter them on the list according to immediate family members first, their children second, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.; then I entered the names of the “HOUSEHOLD of FAITH,” including pastors and leaders first; then I entered my “NEIGHBORS” on another page; then “PERSECUTED SAINTS” on another page; then “PRAYER REQUESTS” on another page; then “LITTLE ONES” on another page; and I could go on, but I will stop right here.

Jesus loves the little children:

“And they brought young children to Him, that He should teach them, and His disciples rebuked those that brought them; but when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased and He said to them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God” Mark 10:13-14

I know of children who have been diagnosed with diseases, or who have suffered child abuse, and other such things. I always enter the names of these on my prayer journal under “LITTLE ONES,” which is how Jesus refers to them. He loves the innocent little children and when you pray for them, those who are sick, abused, orphans, or afflicted in any way, you will gain the attention and favor of God.

I have literally hundreds of names and prayer requests to pray for each day, and obviously, I am not able to call out every one of their names each and every day. Nevertheless, I pray in this manner and I found that it is very effective and pleasing to God – and – He answers all of my prayers:

  • I praise the Lord first; I give Him thanks and I sing praises unto the Lord, for His Word says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His name” Psalm 100:4
  • I surrender all of my mind, soul, body, spirit and strength to the Lord, as well as all that He has lent to me in this life; I pray for the gifts of the Spirit, especially five of them in particular (1 Corinthians 12); I surrender my will to His will and I pray that He will teach me His will, His ways and His Word
  • I pray for Israel’s salvation, peace and protection, as this is pleasing to the Lord (Genesis 12:3; Psalm 122:6)
  • I pray that God will raise up laborers, anointed messengers, to go into all nations with the Gospel of the Good News, in every language
  • I call out the names of my immediate FAMILY MEMBERS each day when I pray for them
  • I pray for the PERSECUTED SAINTS by name daily, and the rest collectively whose names I do not know
  • I pray for all saints, the HOUSEHOLD of FAITH, collectively and call names as I am led of the Lord each day
  • I pray for the LITTLE ONES who have been kidnapped, that they be found and returned to their families, and their kidnappers prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!
  • I pray every day for all the LITTLE ONES among family and friends, for those who are sick and afflicted and for the orphans; I pray for their protection from the wicked and reprobates at large!
  • I pray for the BACKSLIDERS each day collectively, calling their names as I am led of the Lord, especially the loved ones of the household of faith, and I call out the names of all my family members

I pray for most of these collectively, but I call out the names of family members, the persecuted saints and anyone else the Lord lays on my heart each day.

After I have called out all of the names and detailed prayers that I need to pray, I then lay my hands on my prayer journal and pray collectively for all the others in order and by category.

If you find it difficult to pray, I guarantee that if you organize your prayers in a similar manner, you will accomplish every prayer effectively that you need to pray, if your heart is right before God, and you will be able to pray for many more people and requests in a shorter time period than you might otherwise, if your prayers aren’t organized.

May God bless you, strengthen you and answer all of your prayers.

How Much Does God Love You?

The Word of God tells us,

  • God is so mindful of you that He knows the number of hairs that are on your head (Luke 12:6-7)
  • God said that a woman may forget her nursing child, yet He will not forget you (Isaiah 49:15)
  • God said He loves you with an “everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3)
  • God said that you are engraved upon the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:15-16)

The Prophet Isaiah wrote that we are engraved upon the palms of God’s hands about 800 years before Jesus was ever crucified and his hands were pierced for our sins. The nail prints in His hands are a testament of His everlasting love for us; He died for us!

Jesus said,

“If you then, being evil (our nature), know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:11

In other words, Jesus said God loves us more than we know how to love our children; God is the epitome of love.

One soul to whom I gave a gospel tract one day, later told me,

“I’m thinking about that information you gave me.”

She let me know she was considering whether or not she would repent of her sins and live for God (because Jesus died to pay the penalty for her sins, so she could live forever with Him in Paradise), or forego.

I have no idea whether or not she was considering the other information included in the gospel tract about the penalty she faces, if she doesn’t repent and live for God.

God is the epitome of love; but He is also the epitome of wrath against those who refuse to receive His Son Jesus as their Savior.

Jesus also said,

“Do not fear those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” Matthew 10:28

People generally know how to discipline their children when they disobey; but God is the epitome of chastisement.

The Word of God tells us,

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” Proverbs 9:10

God has already forewarned throughout His Word that He created hell for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41), and that He will also cast all whose names are not written in the Book of Life into hell (Revelation 20:15). He is a Holy God, and He has declared that He will destroy all evil, and those who serve the devil, by their evil deeds, casting them all into hell in the end. He will not allow evil to remain among the righteous forever; only He and the righteous will exist on the new earth; no sinners, no evil will exist there (Revelation 21).

It is imperative that everyone understand that those who do not serve God, serve satan by default; there is no middle ground.

The Word of God tells us,

“Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are, whether of sin that leads to death (the second death [Revelation 21:7-8]), or of obedience to righteousness?” Romans 6:16 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

“I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and Heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them; and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, and anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:11-15

Ministers won’t peach this message today, because they want your approval and your money, more than they care about your eternal souls; but they will answer to God for leaving out the warnings that Jesus Himself gave to the people, and which He commissioned us to give – all of His Word, not just the “Jesus loves you” part.

Some preachers discount the Old Testament, saying the New Testament replaces it; not so!

The New Testament Word of God tells us,

“For whatever things were written before (Old Testament) were written for our learning, that we, through the patience and comfort of the scriptures, might have hope” Romans 15:4

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

When the Apostle Paul wrote this message to a young minister by the name of Timothy, the New Testament scriptures were not even published yet. He was referring to the Old Testament, which time and time again were referenced in the New Testament. We are no longer under the law per se, but the foundational truths can never be omitted.

Jesus said,

“Do not think that I came to destroy the law, or the Prophets (Torah and Tanakh); I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill” Matthew 5:17

gates with praise

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise…” Psalm 100:4

Since early April 2018, over the last nine months, the Lord has brought me through a series of steps to understand the importance of giving thanks and praise often, throughout the day, and especially before we go to Him in prayer.

The Word of God tells us that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the “Son of David” in the New Testament (Matthew 9:27; 12:23; 15:22); and there are references to our Redeemer coming from the lineage of “Jesse,” who was the father of David, in the Old Testament (Isaiah 11:1-5).

The Lord God also told David concerning his lineage, which David rehearsed to his son Solomon before he died:

“I go the way of all the earth (to my death); be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man and keep the charge of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn; that the Lord may fulfill His Word which He spoke concerning me, saying, If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, He said, you shall not lack a man to sit on the throne of Israel” 1 Kings 2:2-4

God promised David that his sons would sit on the throne of Israel throughout their generations. God also said of King David,

“When He had removed him (King Saul), He raised up unto them David to be their king, to whom also He gave their testimony and said, ‘I have found David, the son of Jesse, to be a man after My own heart, who shall fulfill all My will’” Acts 13:22

The Word of God provides hints all over the place as to what it was about David that the Lord loved so much, and why He referred to David as “a man after My own heart.”

The Word of God tells us that David praised the Lord with all of his might:

“Then David danced before the Lord with all his might…” 2 Samuel 6:14

David established a tabernacle of praise unlike anyone before him, or after him,

“Then David and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals and with trumpets” 1 Chronicles 13:8

“Then David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers accompanied by instruments of music, stringed instruments, harps and cymbals, by raising the voice with resounding joy” 1 Chronicles 15:16

“Moreover, David and the captains of the army separated for the service some of the sons of Asaph, of Heman and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, in stringed instruments and cymbals…” 1 Chronicles 25:1

“And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, with stringed instruments and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and of Nathan the prophet, for this was the commandment of the Lord by His prophets” 2 Chronicles 29:25

Not only did David dance before the Lord with all of his might, but he set up a tabernacle of praise, the Tabernacle of David, that was glorious, spectacular for praising and worshiping God.

God’s own heart was moved by David’s heart-felt thanksgiving and worship; it got God’s attention every time.

David wrote in Psalms,

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His (Most Holy and Most Precious) Name” Psalm 100:4 (my addition)

If you go before the Lord in prayer without thanksgiving and praise, you have robbed yourself of God’s added favor.

I have also learned this secret hidden in God’s Most Holy Word: when we praise Him, our praises stop the enemy and the avenger, satan himself and all of his imps!

David also wrote in Psalms,

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you have ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that you might still the enemy and the avenger” Psalm 8:2

The Lord gave me the interpretation of this passage of scripture through a message I received, just at the right time, from Evangelist Perry Stone. He gave a message about praising the Lord and stopping the avenger, which I received as the Lord was leading me to holy convocations twice a day, to enter into thanksgiving and praise.

I was led to these hours of praise and holy convocation with the Lord, without fully understanding all of the benefits. God clarified to me through Perry Stone’s message just why I needed to enter into these holy convocations of thanksgiving and praise, especially at this time.

The Lord led me to thanksgiving and praise twice a day, after the devil himself ran down my hallway and right into the livingroom where I was praying. At that time, I started praying that God would take certain people out of office that were signing bills that furthered satan’s destruction of the nation, and specifically the destruction of children. Governor Jerry Brown was one of them and I happened to be praying him out of office about that time, when the devil came running down the hall with power, and he stopped right behind me. Apparently, my prayers infuriated him to the point that he came flying through the hall and right into the living room where I was praying!

The devil has certain strongholds in specific areas, such as California, and he isn’t going to let go of them without a fight.

I could hear him heaving and grunting behind me in anger and fury, and I was paralyzed, not with fear, but I literally couldn’t move and I could barely speak.

Satan is very powerful, even powerful enough to give God’s archangels a good fight – before he finally loses – every time (Daniel 10:4-14).

I was able to form these words,

“I plead the blood of Jesus!”

When I was able to get those words out of my mouth, the devil vanished, and I regained all of my strength.

Right around that time, the Lord led me to set aside specific times, twice a day, to give Him thanksgiving and praise.

I always knew, being raised in a little holiness church, that I should praise the Lord and give thanks, and I did at times; but I never understood the necessity of setting aside specific times of holy convocation before the Lord for thanksgiving and praise, or what the benefits to doing that were, until I received a revelation through Perry Stone just about that time as well.

Perry Stone read Psalm 8:2 and Matthew 21:16 during his message and he explained that both of these scriptures combined tell us that praise silences the enemy and the avenger. This message, right at that time, answered my question as to why I was brought by the Lord to holy convocations of thanksgiving and praise. God knew I needed profound strength to stand against the avenger, satan, as I prayed effectual fervent prayers to destroy his strongholds.

Great spiritual strength is awarded to those who give thanks and praise the Lord, especially if you set aside specific times of holy convocation that you prioritize above everything in the world, like making an appointment with the President of the United States (who would miss that?); but even President Donald Trump would agree that your appointment with God is much, much more important than an appointment with him.

Give God all the firstfruits of your life, not just what is left over at the bottom of the barrel when you are finished with everything else, and watch God pour out strength, revelations and blessings to you that you never knew existed!

Dream of Storm and Flood Disaster

I dreamed I was living in an Asian nation, likely either China or North Korea, because the people were Asian and under a Communist/Tyranny governance. A severe storm hit the province and government officials released a dam that literally wiped out neighborhoods.

As I stood on higher ground, I could see a surge of water being released that swept away homes in moments. After the deluge, family members that survived rummaged through their properties to see what they could salvage and carry with them. The dam disaster was deliberately triggered during a storm and I knew this because the Lord revealed it to me.

I salvaged a small cart of items from the house I lived in and I went to a high-rise building in the city. I heard a man say, as he stepped into the elevator, that winds developed stronger than any storm in history. The building began to sway and I said to someone standing next to me that we need to pray. I knelt to pray and the building literally fell over on its side, but no one on the bottom floor was injured.

I went out into the street and a woman who appeared to be a government official came and took my cart. I said, “You can’t take my things; that’s all I have!” She said, “Really?” And she walked away with my things. As she started off, I grabbed a small sack of tomatoes from the bottom of the cart. It wasn’t wise to argue, or try to fight for your things, because they could arrest and torture you, or even kill you.

Children were crying and people everywhere were destitute within moments; everything was gone suddenly and they had no one to help them. Government officials were only telling people where they could go, directing them to different locations, but they weren’t providing any water, food, or shelter for them. It was obvious to me that many people were already dead, and many more would die soon after the disaster.

Summary: There was a lot of detail in this dream and the fact that the Lord revealed to me that the government triggered a flood to cull the population in that region is an indicator that I need to share it with readers. God has people in these nations that are oppressed by Communism and tyrants, and I believe He showed me what will happen, so we can pray in advance.

The Prophet Daniel said,

“There is a God in heaven Who reveals secrets…” Daniel 2:28

The Word of God tells us,

“I have been young, and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread” Psalms 37:25

We only need to pray, and believe, for Jesus said,

“Hitherto you have asked for nothing in My name; ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full” John 16:24

WHAT WILL A MAN GIVE IN EXCHANGE FOR HIS SOUL

I was a little perplexed at the following scripture and thought perhaps there was an error in the translation, but it reads the same in the original Greek, when I checked it:

“What does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul; or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:26.

The last part of the scripture says, “…or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” I thought it should read, “or what shall a man receive in exchange for his soul?” You know, if some gives his soul away to the devil, what should he “receive” in exchange for it?

I prayed about this passage of scripture, when I noticed what appeared to be an error, and as I prayed and looked up the scripture in the original Greek, the Lord answered my prayer.

He revealed to me, as I read that passage of scripture again, that it was not incorrect. He caused me to realize that if a man gives away his soul for the pleasures of sin, he isn’t really going to get anything back in exchange for it; rather, he is going to suffer more loss than he can ever imagine. No amount of money, or pleasures in this world, can compensate, not only for the loss of his soul, but the loss of his peace, his health in many cases, and perhaps much more in this life.

A man, or woman, who gives away his/her soul will not actually gain anything in this life for it, only misery, heartache, loss of peace, sometimes health, often times their marriage – possibly losing everything, only to enjoy sin for a short while. He isn’t gaining anything by giving up his soul for sin, and the passage of scripture is written correctly, with absolute truth. Such a man not only will lose his soul, but he gives up many things in this life in exchange for sin.

What will you GIVE in exchange for your soul? In other words, consider what you stand to lose in this life because of your sins, in addition to your eternal soul!

Losing one’s eternal soul should be enough to deter us; but since many people don’t think past today, how about considering what you will give up in this life for your sins?

Often times, these are the losses one will suffer for their sins:

SINS

There are so many more sins and potential losses.

Jesus said,

“The thief (referring to satan) comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” John 10:10.

He also said,

“If a son asks for bread of any of you who is a father, will he give him a stone? If he asks for a fish, will he, instead of a fish, give him a serpent? If he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children; how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Luke 11:11-13.

Not only will the Lord give His children life more abundantly on this earth, but He will also give us His Spirit to discern what is good, a good choice, or bad, and to avoid those things satan plants as traps and for destruction.

Jesus offers abundant life in this world, and eternal life hereafter —

Satan offers the momentary pleasure of sin for a short time in this world, which bring eternal damnation in hell.

There are only two choices. Which do you choose?

HEAVEN BRILLIANT or MOUTH OF HELL

“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23.

The decision is easy for the wise.

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass. THE PEOPLE OF GOD START THEIR DAY WITH REST

The start of each day for Israelis and Orthodox Jews begins at sunset, as ordained of God (Genesis 1:5).

Isn’t it interesting how God’s people, including Christians who are grafted in as Jews (Romans 11:16-27), start their day in the evening and lay down to rest and go to sleep?

There is great spiritual significance behind the days that God instituted, versus the manner in which the secular, or godless, world lives.

While the rest of the world is starting their official day from 12:01 am, with only a few hours rest before rushing to work; the Jew starts his day at sunset, and he reclines at the very start of his day.

There is a very important message from God to His people regarding the manner in which He structured their day:

Jesus revealed it very clearly when He said,

“Come unto Me, all of you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (at the very start of your day). Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest unto your souls, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light” Matthew 11:28-30.

Isn’t that Just like God to give us a complete and thorough rest at the start of our day? After we rest and we prepare to go out and do something with the remainder of the day, at sunrise, He also promised to go with us!

“…I will never leave you, nor forsake you” Hebrews 13:5.

He also promised not to allow us more temptation than we can bear:

“There has no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it” 1 Corinthians 10:13.

One of the greatest benefits of serving the Lord is the peace He promised for His people:

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” John 14:27.

Nobody ever had it so good! These are all of the wonderful things God has done for His children, things money can’t buy:

  • Complete rest at the start of your day, not at the end of your day (symbolic of God’s rest within the hearts and minds of His people)
  • God goes with us, He never leaves us
  • He promised never to allow us more temptation than we are able to bear
  • He gives us His blessed peace, much greater peace than the world could ever know

There you have it. Who wouldn’t want to have a close relationship with the Lord?

Most of the world, apparently, and according to Bible prophecy. Not many will consider the benefits of living godly, because they want to “enjoy the passing pleasures of sin” (Hebrews 11:24-26). Not many fully perceive that they will pass from this life and face God in judgment some day.

The Word of God tells us,

“Enter in at the strait gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many go in thereat; because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leads to life (eternal), and few find it” Matthew 7:13-14.

People don’t realize that the very sins that they have forsaken the Lord for, are actually the things that will destroy them, not only in this life (HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, hepatitis, addiction, depression, stress, trouble, sorrow…ultimately leading to death…), but also eternally, in the fires of hell.

Jesus said,

“Come unto Me, all of you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28.

The message from the Lord is this:

Don’t wait until you are tired, wasted and destitute mentally, physically and spiritually; come to the Lord now and He will give you rest at the start of every day.

Every Christian is called into the Lord’s rest at all times, no matter what the situation is.

The Word of God tells us,

“Cast all of your care upon Him, for He cares for you” 1 Peter 5:7

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

TRADITIONS OF MEN

Throughout history, since ancient times, men have suffered a major problem receiving direction and instruction from God, which leads to an intimate relationship and receiving divine revelations from Him. There is a powerful resistance within man to God, by way of following the traditions of men.

How can we know this?

There is, figuratively speaking, a church on every corner in cities throughout America, and most of them basically use the same Bible, but most of them teach a different doctrine; that’s how we know this is true.

God brought this message to me very clearly this morning, as I was reading a passage of scripture in Hebrew. Being just an elementary student of the Hebrew text, I was only able to understand three Words of that particular Hebrew scripture, “Bethlehem Ephratah,” “Judah,” and “Israel.” I felt certain, from these Words, that I knew which scripture it was, but I couldn’t remember where exactly it was located in the English Bible, so I entered “Bethlehem Ephratah” into my concordance to find the location.

I came to only three matches, one in Ruth 4:11, one in 1 Chronicles 4:4, and the last in Micah 5:2. Knowing this scripture about “Bethlehem Ephratah (and) Judah” was prophetic about where our Messiah would be born, I knew right away it would be in Micah 5:2:

“You, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting” Micah 5:2 (emphasis added).

After finding the scripture I was looking for, I became curious about what the Book of Ruth had to say about “Bethlehem Ephratah,” because I couldn’t remember what was said about the city in that book.

I checked the scripture in Ruth 4:11, and I sat there and cried because of the revelation given to me by the Lord.

The passage brought me to the part in the story of Ruth, when Boaz sat down at the gate of the city to redeem her and her mother-in-law, Naomi, after Ruth prepared herself and went and lay at his feet, under his mantle, on the threshing floor. When he awoke to find her there, Boaz determined he would marry her. Before he could do that, he had to settle the matter of Naomi’s dead husband’s property, because according to the laws of Israel, the one who redeemed his property had the right to marry Ruth first; Boaz was only second in line to redeem the property and marry Ruth.

Boaz went and sat down at the gate of the city, which was customary to conduct business and settle such matters, and he waited for the “first in line” (to redeem Ruth) to walk by, and he called him, along with ten other elders in the city (to be witnesses), to sit by him at the gate. They all came and sat with Boaz. He explained to the “first in line” that Elimelech’s property needed to be redeemed for the sake of Naomi and Ruth. The “first in line” declined, saying he couldn’t redeem the property and marry Ruth.

“Boaz said to the elders and to all the people, You are witnesses this day, that I have purchased all that was Elimelech’s (Naomi’s dead husband) and all that was Chilion’s (Naomi’s dead son) and Mahlon’s (Naomi’s other dead son, the former husband of Ruth) of the hand of Naomi (in her behalf)” Ruth 4:9.

What intrigued me greatly, as I continued to read, was the following prophecy included in the Book of Ruth about our Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua, because having been raised in the church since the age of one, I had never heard a message about this profound prophecy, neither had it ever caught my attention before during my studies in God’s Word:

“All the people that were at the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman (Ruth) that has come into your house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel, and do worthily in Ephratah and be famous in Bethlehem” Ruth 4:11.

These elders of Israel, in Bethlehem Ephratah, had no idea at the time that they were prophesying about the coming Messiah, just as Micah did, when he prophesied about the birthplace of Messiah:

“You, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting” Micah 5:2.

It is basically the same in the Hebrew Tanakh (only slight changes in translation): 

וְאַתָּ֞ה בֵּֽית־לֶ֣חֶם אֶפְרָ֗תָה צָעִיר֙ לִֽהְיוֹת֙ בְּאַלְפֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה מִמְּךָ֙ לִ֣י יֵצֵ֔א לִֽהְי֥וֹת מוֹשֵׁ֖ל בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּמוֹצָֽאֹתָ֥יו מִקֶּ֖דֶם מִימֵ֥י עוֹלָֽם: (Michah)

 Any reasonable Jew should know that this is a prophecy about the coming Messiah. The rest of the entire chapter speaks of His “giving up” Israel, until she “travails, then the remnant of His brethren shall return unto the children of Israel” (Micah 5:3), speaking of the Holocaust and return of the Jews to Israel); and further explains how He will “be the peace” of Israel (Micah 5:5), and deliver Israel from the Assyrian (Micah 5:6), and the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people (Micah 5:7), and the remnant of Jacob shall be among Gentiles (Micah 5:8), and His hand will be lifted up against Israel’s adversaries and their enemies shall be cut off (Micah 5:9)…and the Lord will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard (Micah 5:15), prophecies soon to be fulfilled.

Jesus, Yeshua, came out of the lineage of Boaz and Ruth, as the genealogy written in the Book of Matthew demonstrates:

“And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab, and Booz begat Obed of Ruth, and Obed begat Jesse” Matthew 1:5.

The genealogy continues…

“And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus (Yeshua), who is called Christ” Matthew 1:16.

Consider also this miraculous fact:

“So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, and from David until the carrying away (of Jews) into Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the carrying into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations” Matthew 1:17. *Jews are very concerned with numbers, as they pertain to the Word of God.

Consider something even more profound, at least it was to me when I saw it; the prophecy that the elders in Bethlehem spoke at the gate, when Boaz announced his marriage to Ruth:

“All the people that were at the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman (Ruth) that has come into your house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel, and do worthily in Ephratah and be famous in Bethlehem” Ruth 4:11 (emphasis added).

Right after that verse, in Ruth 4:12, they spoke prophetically of another couple that would be included in the genealogy of Christ:

“And let your house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the Lord shall give you of this woman” Ruth 4:12.

It is basically the same in the Hebrew Tanakh (only slight changes in translation): 

וִיהִ֤י בֵֽיתְךָ֙ כְּבֵ֣ית פֶּ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יָֽלְדָ֥ה תָמָ֖ר לִֽיהוּדָ֑ה מִן־הַזֶּ֗רַע אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִתֵּ֤ן יְהֹוָה֙ לְךָ֔ מִן־הַֽנַּֽעֲרָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת: (Rut)

Notice that near the start of the genealogy given by Matthew (Matthew 1:3), the same couple is included in the genealogy of Christ, that were spoken of in the Book of Ruth:

“And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar (same as Tamar), and Phares begat Esrom, and Esrom begat Aram” Matthew 1:3.

A reasonable Jew would consider all of these prophetic facts, especially since they start in the Tanakh and conclude in the New Testament about the Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua, and know beyond any doubt that He fulfilled these prophecies, and so many more: Zechariah 12:10, about the Messiah being “pierced,” as detailed in Matthew 27:35, fulfilling also the prophecy of David in Psalm 22:18; Ezekiel 44:1-2, about how Messiah will enter the east gate and it will be shut until that time, and it remains shut today; and Zechariah 9:9, about how Jerusalem’s King will come to her, “having salvation, lowly, and riding upon an ass, upon the colt of an ass,” which was fulfilled by Yeshua, as detailed in Matthew 21:5; and Isaiah 7:14, about how the Lord will give a sign to Israel that a “virgin would conceive and bear a son and shall call Him Immanuel (Immanu El – God with us),” which was fulfilled and detailed in Matthew 1:18-23.

The fulfillment of these prophecies is mathematically phenomenal. The odds of the fulfillment of these prophecies, and many more I have not included here, being profoundly improbable.

A Jew cannot be certain, unless he researches for himself, that he follows the traditions of men, or the truth of God’s Holy Word. He can never know, unless he studies and reasons for himself, whether he only believes what men have handed down from generation to generation, or what the real truth is.

When people follow the traditions of men, if somewhere throughout the generations just one generation of men got it wrong, then all of the generations after them will also have it wrong.

Nevertheless, God made a promise to everyone:

“And you shall seek Me (God) and find Me, when you search for Me with all of your heart” Jeremiah 29:13 (emphasis added).

I challenge every Jew to confirm what the forefathers have told them, through sincere prayer unto God and by searching the Tanakh and studying the New Testament in the Orthodox Jewish Bible. You will never know for sure, unless you ask God yourself.

In fact, because there are churches and synagogues all over the world, with so many different doctrines it baffles the imagination, I challenge everyone, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Christians… reading this, to do your own research, while sincerely praying to God for the divine, unadulterated, TRUTH.

God will answer that prayer if you meet only one qualification: if you love the Lord with all of your heart, soul and mind (meaning you also obey Him) Jeremiah 29:13, Matthew 22:37.

When we stand before God on Judgment Day, we will stand alone to give an account. We will not be able to blame anything we believe, or anything we have done, on the rabbi, the teacher, the preacher, or our mother, or father; we will all answer to Him alone. Should we not, therefore, pray and study the Word of God for ourselves, to receive God’s divine revelation?

The Word of God tells us,

“I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:12-15.

WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING

THE LOVE OF MONEY

Yesterday, before retiring, I decided I wanted to hear a good message by a particular preacher, among a few that I listen to now and then. I was tired and I needed to be refreshed in the Word.

I went to this particular minister’s website to watch his message that was generally posted weekly, but sadly, the weekly messages were gone. I went to that minister’s channel on You Tube and, after searching the channel, I couldn’t find a video with a message, only brief promotional videos, as he was selling his messages on CDs and DVDs.

My heart was stricken, folks. This is the second time I have seen an anointed preacher (previously anointed) take their videos and archived messages off of their websites, only to offer to sell them by CD, or DVDs – no free gospel of Christ there.

The problem with only sharing messages on CDs and DVDs is that some people really can’t afford to buy them. We are talking about the poor here; there are poor people in this world. I think maybe some ministers are so blessed they have forgotten there are poor people in the world who can barely pay for the necessities of life and there is nothing else left for CDs/DVDs!

The money-focused preacher might say if they paid their tithes and offerings faithfully, they would have plenty to buy my CDs/DVDs. The problem with that analogy is that the unsaved need to hear their messages before they learn the keys to the Kingdom and the laws of reaping and sowing!

Sure, the saints of God, who pay their tithes and offerings, are absolutely blessed and they can, without a doubt, order messages on CDs and DVDs; but what about the poor folks who aren’t even saved, who actually need to hear those messages more than anyone else? I thought to myself, don’t these ministers know that people who aren’t saved, who need to hear the Word of God more than anyone else, aren’t going to become a “partner” of their ministry, or likely order their CDs and DVDs to hear the gospel preached?

It’s not a sin to sell messages by CD/DVD if messages are also provided for free; but when a preacher only sells CDs/DVDs and offers no messages for free, he is selling the gospel – and that is an abomination!

Many preachers and evangelists today have lost sight of God’s will, His ways and the principles of the Kingdom, and their focus is on money first, winning souls last! A preacher who takes his messages off of the free website, in order to sell them only, has lost the anointing, and they will find that out sooner, or later. 

The Lord God who has the power to bless them greatly, also has the power to take them down.

I won’t divulge the names of the preachers, because they can repent and be revived, and I wouldn’t want this type of criticism hanging over their ministry for the rest of their days. I will say that if they don’t heed God’s call to make the gospel free, they will either be chastised sorely, or go all the way into heresy.

The Lord laid this message on my heart about supporting ministries and collecting offerings, so I felt the Holy Ghost pressing on me to write it out and share it with the saints.

This message today starts in the Book of Exodus, chapter 35.

God gave Moses instructions on how to build the Tabernacle of God in the wilderness and He told Moses to gather offerings from the people, among those who were of “a willing heart.”

“Moses spake to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying, Take from among you an offering to the Lord, whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord, gold, silver and brass…And every wise hearted among you shall come and make all that the Lord has commanded…And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up and everyone whom His Spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the Tabernacle of the congregation and for all His service and for the holy garments…The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord commanded to be made by the hand of Moses” Exodus 35:4-5; 10; 20-21; 29.

The people gave from a willing heart to the Lord; they weren’t coerced.

Notice, God didn’t tell Moses to go out and offer the people a piece of the Tabernacle, or a piece of wood from the burnt offering with some ram’s blood on it, or some holy sanctified water, if they would bring an offering. God told Moses to go out and tell the people to give for the building of God’s Tabernacle, whoever is of a willing heart, that’s it!

Who do you think “stirred” up the hearts of the people to give for God’s Tabernacle? That’s right, it was God. Moses didn’t defile the intent of the people’s hearts, by offering them gifts in exchange for their offerings to God, but they were to give out of the sincerity of their hearts, otherwise, if they had given only to get something tangible for themselves, their offerings would have been defiled. This is how God operates. What you are seeing many times in the churches, on the internet, on television and radio are the concoctions of men to entice people to give. That is abominable in the sight of God. It defiles the offering!

If people do not give to God out of the sincerity of their hearts, because they want to give to God; if they are giving to get something back, like a gift, or some trinket for themselves, their giving is tainted and this type of collection defiles God’s plan and His purposes in the lives and hearts of His people.

After the people gave of their willing hearts, not being coerced, this is what happened next:

“And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal, and they brought to him free offerings every morning. All the wise men that completed the work of the sanctuary, came away from his work, and they spoke to Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to be made. Moses gave commandment then, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man, nor woman, make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary, so the people were restrained from bringing, for the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to complete it, and too much” Exodus 36:3-6.

I hope everyone, especially you pastors, evangelists and ministers, understand the principle behind what happened when God told His people what the Lord required for the building of His Tabernacle, and how the people were asked to give freewill offerings for God’s work.

When men and women of God focus on truth and light and how to minister to the people, visit the sick and pray the prayer of faith for their healing, visit those in prison and minister to the needs of the orphans, widows, fatherless, disabled, weak and poor among the saints and community, and when those men and women of God simply pray, in faith believing, and request freewill offerings, does anyone in the remotest part of their minds believe that God will not provide; in fact, believe that He will not provide to the extent that the offerings will be so much that you can tell the people not to give anymore, unless/until there is another need, besides their tithes and regular offerings?

When ministers begin to concoct gimmicks to entice people to give, that’s when ministries struggle and go bankrupt; because God has laws and principles and when those laws are broken, the people suffer and do without.

There is an exception, however. Charlatans will generally not suffer, nor do without, when they deceive the weak and gullible. Those kind will often reap bountifully for their schemes, because they are backed by satan himself, but they will face God on Judgment Day!

Ministers, why not go all out, 100 percent, for God and turn the matter over to Him? Instead of having your ushers pass the plate under the nose of every individual that attends church, why not set the collection box somewhere near the exit, so people can give without making a show of their giving (Matthew 6:1-4), and the poor who might not have something that service can leave with some peace, not intimidation, until their increase comes in.

The more you worry about money and what you are going to get, the more troubles you are going to have, ministers; but when you live a godly life and stop begging, the blessings will begin to flow; it is a promise:

“I will come near to you to judge you and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, against perjurers and against those who oppress wage earners, the widow and the fatherless and against those who turn away the stranger, and do not fear Me, says the Lord of hosts; for I am the Lord and I do not change; therefore, you sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers, you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts; but you said, Why should we be asked to return? Will a man rob God? You have robbed Me; but you say, How have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, so there will be meat in My house, and prove Me by this, says the Lord of hosts, and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing for you, that you will not have enough room to receive it. I will also rebuke the devourer for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts. All nations will also call you blessed, for you will be a delightsome land, says the Lord of hosts” Malachi 3:5-12.

Does anyone read anything in there that says ministers need to sell the gospel in order to get by? Please don’t misunderstand. It is perfectly alright to sell CDs and DVDs of your sermons; after all, they cost money to make; but to sell them, yet not have your messages also available on your websites, or other media, for free to the poor, the orphans, the fatherless and widows, is an abomination in the sight of God.

Every minister who does it will stand before God in judgment. It boils down to selling the gospel, but the gospel is FREE, folks, and never to be sold!

God never called one minister to sell the gospel truth, not one! There are plenty of charlatans to go around though.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Why not take God at His Word? Encourage the saints to pay their tithes, one tenth, according to the Word of God, and give freewill offerings, as the Lord leads them, and live holy; pay your own tithes and offerings, ministries, and most importantly love and seek God with all of your heart, soul, strength and mind – and watch God open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings to you and your ministry, so much that you won’t know how to receive them!

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful that promised)” Hebrews 10:23.

FEAR HAS TORMENT

‘Fear Has Torment’

I woke up in the morning with a message for someone, perhaps many; but at least someone in particular needs deliverance from a tormenting fear.

A tormenting fear is not of God, unless it is the fear of God Himself for the conviction of sins, but that can be quickly remedied through repentance and surrender to God.

The tormenting fear of anything else is satanic; but the good news is that God offers deliverance from all kinds of fear.

The Word of God tells us,

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He who fears is not made perfected in love” 1 John 4:18.

What this means is that your love for the Lord has not been perfected, if you suffer fear, but when you surrender yourself to the Lord wholly, fully, and repent of sin, you will not fear.

The Prophet Isaiah wrote this about the coming Messiah, Jesus:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord…” Isaiah 61:1-2.

When Jesus entered the temple in Nazareth on the Sabbath day, He stood up to read, and the Book of Isaiah was delivered to Him. He found Isaiah 61:1-2, and read what Isaiah the prophet said about Himself (Luke 4:18-19).

Jesus, on that day in the temple, relayed this message, not only to those present, but also to the entire world:

“I Am the One that the prophet Isaiah wrote about; I Am the One who brings good tidings to the poor; I Am the One who heals the brokenhearted; I Am the One who proclaims liberty to the captives…”

The Word of God also tells us that Jesus commanded His disciples to cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead (Matthew 10:5-8), just as He did before He ascended up to the Father.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and He saved you from your sins, because you confessed them and asked His forgiveness, He promised already to give you peace:

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” John 14:27.

If your sins are forgiven and you are a child of God, but satan has afflicted you with a tormenting fear, place your hands on your monitor, or phone, below, right where the following prayer and commandment is written, to receive the prayer of deliverance and the added blessing with it. Do it in faith, fully believing, for it is impossible to receive with out faith James 1:6-7: (Say the following out loud and then place your hands over the words and receive them by faith)

“In the name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer, I command you, spirit of fear and torment, to flee those who place their hands over this commandment in faith. In the name of Jesus, I also release God’s blessing of peace over you from this time forward, according to the Word of God.”

This type of proxy is Biblical. Even though I can’t be there with you to pray over you, this written commandment and prayer, and the method of laying your hands upon it in faith to receive it, is just as effective. An example is found in Acts 19:11-12, when Paul sent handkerchiefs to those who were sick, or who were possessed with evil spirits.

The Word of God says,

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

Receive this deliverance and peace by faith in the name of Jesus. It will be your own faith that brings the deliverance, and my faith with yours together.

The first thing the devil will do is tell you that you aren’t delivered and he will heap doubts upon you and try to bring fear right back. Each and every time a thought of doubt creeps into your mind, don’t entertain that thought for one minute. Rebuke it in the name of Jesus and begin to pray, rehearse scriptures relating to deliverance (Isaiah 61:1; 1 John 5:4; John 8:36) and sing songs of victory.

If you are living in willful sin, receive deliverance from that too, in the name of Jesus, because sin will hinder your deliverance. Serve the Lord with all of your heart and ask Him to give you perfect love for Him. If you sin after that, just repent, and determine in your heart not to continue in sin and God will still help you; just don’t continue in sin willfully. God will deliver you, He will heal you and give you His peace.
