JESUS HAS HIS ARMS OUTSTRETCHED

This Word from the Lord came to me for someone, or perhaps many who come to the site to be blessed and receive a Word from God.

The Lord brought this passage of scripture, titled above, as I grieved for my precious son, who went on to be with the Lord ahead of me.

At times, I grieve for him as though he left only yesterday. I know he is with the Lord and I know he is happy and blessed, in that I have actually seen him since he went on to be with the Lord, but I just miss him so much it hurts incredibly. The Lord allowed us to visit him since his death during a time of great grief.

Even though the Lord comforted me already about my son’s passing with that profound experience, the devil attacked me one day recently, taunting me because he suffered death at such a young age.

I cried out to the Lord, in my grief, and He brought this passage of scripture to me,

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints” Psalms 116:15

I asked the Lord how the death of His saints could be “precious” in His sight, as they suffer death.

The Lord reminded me that my son did not suffer at death, but rather just fell asleep. This is true; my son never demonstrated a moment of pain, or suffering, when he left this world. Then the Lord also reminded me of scriptures found in the Wisdom of Solomon, which is a book that used to be included in the King James Version of the Bible prior to 1611, when it was removed from later translations. I have read the “Apocrypha, Secret Texts,” which were removed after 1611, and not one of these books contradict the canonized scriptures. I highly recommend them. I was especially blessed when I read II Esdras (written by the Prophet Ezra), and discovered that the Savior’s name, Jesus, is foretold in that book, and the exact number of years before his arrival from the year of the writing (400 BC! Some say it was written in 500 BC, or later, but why contradict the prophecy; it’s too accurate?!) [II Esdras 7:28]

The Wisdom of Solomon says,

“The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God and there shall no torment touch them. In the sight of the unwise, they seem to die, and their departure is taken for misery and their going from us to utter destruction, but they are in peace; for though they be punished in the sight of men, yet is their hope full of immortality” Wisdom of Solomon 3:1-4

The Lord ministered to my heart that the death of the righteous is not at all as it seems. They do not die, as the ungodly die; they do not suffer death, as the ungodly suffer death; and their departure from this world is entirely different than what it appears in the natural.

In fact, I have seen the ungodly die in horror, never in peace; but it is entirely different for the righteous, whom I have seen depart from their fleshly exterior. I have see four depart, and they have all passed from this life in peace.

As the Lord reminded me of the departure of the saints, in comparison to the ungodly, I understood then His answer to my question, How the death of His saints could be “precious” in His sight. It is a blissful homecoming event for the Lord and His saints!

The worst part of the unbeliever’s death is the fear, the terror of dying without salvation. We all suffer at times, whether we are living, or dying; but the worst part of the sinner’s death is the terror of death, an end without God, and no hope of eternal life.

The saints of God have the blessed peace of knowing they are on their way to unspeakable bliss where our Creator is; they understand that they are actually going home and will meet up with loved-ones there, as promised in God’s Holy Word.

There is no comparison between the death of a sinner, and the passing of a saint, folks.

Jesus said,

“Whoever lives and believes in Me, shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:26

If you have children, now is the time to teach them that one day we all go to God Who gave us life, if we love Him and obey Him. There are times the subject can be approached, even with the very young, such as times when a pet, or loved one passes on. If we don’t teach them, they will die in terror some day, having no hope of eternal life.

My son was homeschooled and we started every day with Bible class throughout his school years. Eternal life was as real to him as this natural existence, and that’s the way God intends for us to raise our children; not to ever hand them over to the ungodly every day for instruction (Deuteronomy 11:18-19). *If you are willing, and pray, God will make a way if there seems to be no way. In the meantime, if your children are attending a public school, teach them at home and pray over them before they leave each day, and God will make a way for you to homeschool, or to place them in Christian school. Trust and obey, and watch God make the way!

God reminded me that when my son left this world, he had the blessed peace of knowing who God is, that he was going to God, at that time, or later, and he had no reason to fear. I never saw a moment of fear on the face of my son. In fact, we sang blessed hymns and praises unto the Lord, and we prayed together only hours before he went on home to be with our Lord and Savior, and our loved ones, who were waiting for him there.

May you give your children and loved ones the same blessed peace in knowing who God is – before it’s too late.

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass. Are you prepared to stand before God and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth (Revelation 20:12-15)? If not, salvation is only a prayer away. Please visit the How Can I Be Saved page – your eternal destiny depends on it. God bless you.

“The Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him who hears say, Come; and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely” Revelation 22:17

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” Revelation 12:11

John the Revelator saw visions given to him by Jesus, showing him what will come to pass in the last days. Jesus showed John that satan, who presently accuses the brethren (saints of God) before God day and night, will be cast out of heaven during the great tribulation:

“And the great dragon (satan) was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast out into the earth and his (fallen) angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now salvation is come, and strength and the Kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ, for the accuser of our brethren (the saints) has been cast down, who accused them before our God day and night” Revelation 12:9-10

Since the ancient times of Job, when satan accused Job before the Lord (Job 1:6-12), satan has walked to and fro throughout the earth, gathering what he considers to be evidence against the saints of God, and he presents it before the Lord.

The court of God’s throneroom, by the way, is the premise behind our very courts of law in this world today. God sits as judge upon His throne (Isaiah 6:1) and satan is a type of prosecutor, “the accuser of the brethren” (Revelation 12:10); Jesus Christ is a type of defense attorney, our intercessor/advocate (1 John 2:1); it’s all there, and witnesses are described in the Word also.

Jesus said to the scribes and Pharisees, when they asked Him for a sign that He was the awaited Christ,

“The men of Nineveh (a very wicked city that repented of their sins when they heard the Prophet Jonah) shall rise in judgment with this generation and shall condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonas (same as Jonah), and behold, a greater than Jonas is here (speaking of Himself)” Matthew 12:41

There are other similar passages of scripture which refer to witnesses in God’s court (Matthew 12:42).

Just as a stenographer or video operator records court proceedings and testimonies in a courtroom, God keeps books that are written in heaven, which also bear testimony of our deeds here on earth:

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away and there was found no place for them; and I saw the dead, small and great (referring to social status) standing before God, and books were opened (books written of our works – see below), and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades (Hell) delivered up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one according to his works, then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:11-15

Just as certain as their are courts of law in every jurisdiction in this world, where testimonies, evidence, a prosecutor, an advocate/defense attorney, and the judge presides; God Himself will judge all mankind, just as His Holy Word declares it, and there will be many records, testimonies and witnesses in His courtroom!

Our own testimonies on that day will also be pivotal.

Yes, we are saved by the blood of the Lamb and that gift is free; we will also stand in judgment to give an account of what we did with that free gift. Did we trample it with our feet and bring an open reproach to Jesus Christ by our words and our deeds?

“For if we sin willfully, after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins (repentance is needed again, with denouncement of the sin), but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation (unless true repentance is made), which shall devour the adversaries (sinners). He who despised Moses’s law died without mercy under two or three witnesses; of how much sorer punishment, do you suppose, shall he be thought worthy who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace (by continuing in sin)? For we know Him that said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will recompense, says the Lord. And again, the Lord shall judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” Hebrews 10:26-31

The Word of God tells us that we are overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony:

“And they (the saints) overcame him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death” Revelation 12:11

How can a child of God say they love the Lord, but not even be willing to forsake sin, from which he was saved? We must not only be willing to turn away from temptation and sin, but we need to love the Lord enough to lay down our very lives for His Holy Name’s sake!

What is your testimony?

“I got drunk with friends last night?”

“He made me mad, so I cussed him out real good?”

“Every year I go to fantastic places and have a great time during my vacation?”

Or,

“I went to the prayer meeting last night with friends?”

“He made me mad, but I blessed him and told him I forgive him?”

“I take simple breaks during my time off, so I can give more money to help the poor?”

Jesus said,

“Do not lay up treasures for yourself on earth, where moth and rust corrupts and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts and where thieves do not break in and steal” Matthew 6:19-20

Concerning all aspects of your life, what will your testimony be in the court of heaven?

Do you know of anyone who has ever lived forever and never died in this world?

No, there is not one soul who has lived in this world forever, who never faced death, nor God’s judgment thereafter. Neither will any one of us live forever in this world; but we will all face death, and go before God’s throne to be judged for our deeds, unless the rapture/catching up of the saints occurs before that time:

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Are you ready to go when the Lord calls? Will your testimony be pleasing to God, or a reproach to His Most Holy Name?

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

PRAYING

PRAYER

“…The effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man avails much” James 5:16

Jesus said,

“To this time, you have asked nothing in My name; ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full” John 16:24

Do you find it difficult to pray at times? I remember as a young Christian struggling to pray, trying to determine what I should pray about and how I should pray. I had a difficult time praying back then for more than 10 or 15 minutes, let alone my stated goal of one hour.

I knew the importance of prayer and when an urgent need presented itself, I could pray then; but I have to say that, in general, I didn’t really know how to pray starting out. The Lord taught me through the years.

The Lord laid this message on my heart and I believe, without a doubt, it will help some, who desire a good prayer-life, to structure your prayers, which will help facilitate effectual prayers; the “fervent” part, referring to James 5:16 above, has to do with an individual’s own intensity in prayer.

Structure prayers?

Yes, I said structure.

The Word of God tells us,

“Let all things be done decently and in order” 1 Corinthians 14:40

God is very much a God of order, not “happenchance,” or disarray.

I heard a minister criticize Job during a sermon, even as Job’s “friends” criticized him, finding fault with his sacrifices, his complaints, etc…

Can you believe that?

God Himself said that Job was perfect (Job 1:8). Listen, folks, if God said Job was a perfect man, Job was perfect!

I considered the things Job did, and what Job’s testimony was before God, as he suffered and prayed for relief, because I decided that if God Himself said Job was a perfect man, I had better consider all that Job did, because I strive for perfection, as God’s Word says we should.

“…Be holy, for I Am holy” 1 Peter 1:16

“For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness” 1 Thessalonians 4:7

We can take a lesson from Job in how we should live and pray, in that God Himself said Job was perfect:

“There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God and eschewed evil” Job 1:1

“The Lord said to satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one who fears God and eschews evil?” Job 1:8

There are plenty of other things we could say about Job to expound on his righteousness before God, but for the purpose of this message, let’s focus on Job’s prayer life.

The Word of God tells us,

“There were born to him (Job) seven sons and three daughters…and his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one on his day, and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and drink with them (apparently, they rotated hosting dinners at their homes each day). And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about (at the end of the week), that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings, according to the number of them all, for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts. This Job did continually” Job 1:2,4-5

First, note that Job “rose up early in the morning.” Every saint I know that prays effectively, rises up early in the morning to pray. This gets God’s attention. If that’s impossible for you, because perhaps you work nights, etc., God understands; but if you are at all able to rise early for prayer, God will honor you for that sacrifice alone and for giving Him the “firstfruits” of your day.

Job was the wealthiest man in his region and he seemed to recognize how spoiled his children were, fearing that they might even go so far as to recklessly “curse God in their hearts;” so, Job offered burnt offerings at the end of every week for each one of his children, and he did so “continually.” Job was reliably consistent before God in giving sacrifices in behalf of his children, in case they had sinned.

We don’t sacrifice animals today, but we are called to pray “effectual fervent prayers.” Every saint of God has a responsibility to pray daily for the souls of their family members, especially their children, and for the saints; this is pleasing to God.

The Word of God also instructs us,

“Praying always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” Ephesians 6:18

I have way too many people to pray for each day to actually name them all, one by one, but it is very important that I pray for each one every day. Over time, the Lord has taught me to write down, categorically in a journal, all “FAMILY MEMBERS” and I enter them on the list according to immediate family members first, their children second, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.; then I entered the names of the “HOUSEHOLD of FAITH,” including pastors and leaders first; then I entered my “NEIGHBORS” on another page; then “PERSECUTED SAINTS” on another page; then “PRAYER REQUESTS” on another page; then “LITTLE ONES” on another page; and I could go on, but I will stop right here.

Jesus loves the little children:

“And they brought young children to Him, that He should teach them, and His disciples rebuked those that brought them; but when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased and He said to them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God” Mark 10:13-14

I know of children who have been diagnosed with diseases, or who have suffered child abuse, and other such things. I always enter the names of these on my prayer journal under “LITTLE ONES,” which is how Jesus refers to them. He loves the innocent little children and when you pray for them, those who are sick, abused, orphans, or afflicted in any way, you will gain the attention and favor of God.

I have literally hundreds of names and prayer requests to pray for each day, and obviously, I am not able to call out every one of their names each and every day. Nevertheless, I pray in this manner and I found that it is very effective and pleasing to God – and – He answers all of my prayers:

  • I praise the Lord first; I give Him thanks and I sing praises unto the Lord, for His Word says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His name” Psalm 100:4
  • I surrender all of my mind, soul, body, spirit and strength to the Lord, as well as all that He has lent to me in this life; I pray for the gifts of the Spirit, especially five of them in particular (1 Corinthians 12); I surrender my will to His will and I pray that He will teach me His will, His ways and His Word
  • I pray for Israel’s salvation, peace and protection, as this is pleasing to the Lord (Genesis 12:3; Psalm 122:6)
  • I pray that God will raise up laborers, anointed messengers, to go into all nations with the Gospel of the Good News, in every language
  • I call out the names of my immediate FAMILY MEMBERS each day when I pray for them
  • I pray for the PERSECUTED SAINTS by name daily, and the rest collectively whose names I do not know
  • I pray for all saints, the HOUSEHOLD of FAITH, collectively and call names as I am led of the Lord each day
  • I pray for the LITTLE ONES who have been kidnapped, that they be found and returned to their families, and their kidnappers prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!
  • I pray every day for all the LITTLE ONES among family and friends, for those who are sick and afflicted and for the orphans; I pray for their protection from the wicked and reprobates at large!
  • I pray for the BACKSLIDERS each day collectively, calling their names as I am led of the Lord, especially the loved ones of the household of faith, and I call out the names of all my family members

I pray for most of these collectively, but I call out the names of family members, the persecuted saints and anyone else the Lord lays on my heart each day.

After I have called out all of the names and detailed prayers that I need to pray, I then lay my hands on my prayer journal and pray collectively for all the others in order and by category.

If you find it difficult to pray, I guarantee that if you organize your prayers in a similar manner, you will accomplish every prayer effectively that you need to pray, if your heart is right before God, and you will be able to pray for many more people and requests in a shorter time period than you might otherwise, if your prayers aren’t organized.

May God bless you, strengthen you and answer all of your prayers.

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

CROSS AND DOVE.png

How Much Does God Love You?

The Word of God tells us,

  • God is so mindful of you that He knows the number of hairs that are on your head (Luke 12:6-7)
  • God said that a woman may forget her nursing child, yet He will not forget you (Isaiah 49:15)
  • God said He loves you with an “everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3)
  • God said that you are engraved upon the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:15-16)

The Prophet Isaiah wrote that we are engraved upon the palms of God’s hands about 800 years before Jesus was ever crucified and his hands were pierced for our sins. The nail prints in His hands are a testament of His everlasting love for us; He died for us!

Jesus said,

“If you then, being evil (our nature), know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:11

In other words, Jesus said God loves us more than we know how to love our children; God is the epitome of love.

One soul to whom I gave a gospel tract one day, later told me,

“I’m thinking about that information you gave me.”

She let me know she was considering whether or not she would repent of her sins and live for God (because Jesus died to pay the penalty for her sins, so she could live forever with Him in Paradise), or forego.

I have no idea whether or not she was considering the other information included in the gospel tract about the penalty she faces, if she doesn’t repent and live for God.

God is the epitome of love; but He is also the epitome of wrath against those who refuse to receive His Son Jesus as their Savior.

Jesus also said,

“Do not fear those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” Matthew 10:28

People generally know how to discipline their children when they disobey; but God is the epitome of chastisement.

The Word of God tells us,

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” Proverbs 9:10

God has already forewarned throughout His Word that He created hell for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41), and that He will also cast all whose names are not written in the Book of Life into hell (Revelation 20:15). He is a Holy God, and He has declared that He will destroy all evil, and those who serve the devil, by their evil deeds, casting them all into hell in the end. He will not allow evil to remain among the righteous forever; only He and the righteous will exist on the new earth; no sinners, no evil will exist there (Revelation 21).

It is imperative that everyone understand that those who do not serve God, serve satan by default; there is no middle ground.

The Word of God tells us,

“Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are, whether of sin that leads to death (the second death [Revelation 21:7-8]), or of obedience to righteousness?” Romans 6:16 (ET – Elim אֵילִם Translation)

“I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and Heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them; and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, and anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:11-15

Ministers won’t peach this message today, because they want your approval and your money, more than they care about your eternal souls; but they will answer to God for leaving out the warnings that Jesus Himself gave to the people, and which He commissioned us to give – all of His Word, not just the “Jesus loves you” part.

Some preachers discount the Old Testament, saying the New Testament replaces it; not so!

The New Testament Word of God tells us,

“For whatever things were written before (Old Testament) were written for our learning, that we, through the patience and comfort of the scriptures, might have hope” Romans 15:4

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

When the Apostle Paul wrote this message to a young minister by the name of Timothy, the New Testament scriptures were not even published yet. He was referring to the Old Testament, which time and time again were referenced in the New Testament. We are no longer under the law per se, but the foundational truths can never be omitted.

Jesus said,

“Do not think that I came to destroy the law, or the Prophets (Torah and Tanakh); I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill” Matthew 5:17

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

gates with praise

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise…” Psalm 100:4

Since early April 2018, over the last nine months, the Lord has brought me through a series of steps to understand the importance of giving thanks and praise often, throughout the day, and especially before we go to Him in prayer.

The Word of God tells us that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the “Son of David” in the New Testament (Matthew 9:27; 12:23; 15:22); and there are references to our Redeemer coming from the lineage of “Jesse,” who was the father of David, in the Old Testament (Isaiah 11:1-5).

The Lord God also told David concerning his lineage, which David rehearsed to his son Solomon before he died:

“I go the way of all the earth (to my death); be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man and keep the charge of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn; that the Lord may fulfill His Word which He spoke concerning me, saying, If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, He said, you shall not lack a man to sit on the throne of Israel” 1 Kings 2:2-4

God promised David that his sons would sit on the throne of Israel throughout their generations. God also said of King David,

“When He had removed him (King Saul), He raised up unto them David to be their king, to whom also He gave their testimony and said, ‘I have found David, the son of Jesse, to be a man after My own heart, who shall fulfill all My will’” Acts 13:22

The Word of God provides hints all over the place as to what it was about David that the Lord loved so much, and why He referred to David as “a man after My own heart.”

The Word of God tells us that David praised the Lord with all of his might:

“Then David danced before the Lord with all his might…” 2 Samuel 6:14

David established a tabernacle of praise unlike anyone before him, or after him,

“Then David and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals and with trumpets” 1 Chronicles 13:8

“Then David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers accompanied by instruments of music, stringed instruments, harps and cymbals, by raising the voice with resounding joy” 1 Chronicles 15:16

“Moreover, David and the captains of the army separated for the service some of the sons of Asaph, of Heman and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, in stringed instruments and cymbals…” 1 Chronicles 25:1

“And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, with stringed instruments and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and of Nathan the prophet, for this was the commandment of the Lord by His prophets” 2 Chronicles 29:25

Not only did David dance before the Lord with all of his might, but he set up a tabernacle of praise, the Tabernacle of David, that was glorious, spectacular for praising and worshiping God.

God’s own heart was moved by David’s heart-felt thanksgiving and worship; it got God’s attention every time.

David wrote in Psalms,

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His (Most Holy and Most Precious) Name” Psalm 100:4 (my addition)

If you go before the Lord in prayer without thanksgiving and praise, you have robbed yourself of God’s added favor.

I have also learned this secret hidden in God’s Most Holy Word: when we praise Him, our praises stop the enemy and the avenger, satan himself and all of his imps!

David also wrote in Psalms,

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you have ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that you might still the enemy and the avenger” Psalm 8:2

The Lord gave me the interpretation of this passage of scripture through a message I received, just at the right time, from Evangelist Perry Stone. He gave a message about praising the Lord and stopping the avenger, which I received as the Lord was leading me to holy convocations twice a day, to enter into thanksgiving and praise.

I was led to these hours of praise and holy convocation with the Lord, without fully understanding all of the benefits. God clarified to me through Perry Stone’s message just why I needed to enter into these holy convocations of thanksgiving and praise, especially at this time.

The Lord led me to thanksgiving and praise twice a day, after the devil himself ran down my hallway and right into the livingroom where I was praying. At that time, I started praying that God would take certain people out of office that were signing bills that furthered satan’s destruction of the nation, and specifically the destruction of children. Governor Jerry Brown was one of them and I happened to be praying him out of office about that time, when the devil came running down the hall with power, and he stopped right behind me. Apparently, my prayers infuriated him to the point that he came flying through the hall and right into the living room where I was praying!

The devil has certain strongholds in specific areas, such as California, and he isn’t going to let go of them without a fight.

I could hear him heaving and grunting behind me in anger and fury, and I was paralyzed, not with fear, but I literally couldn’t move and I could barely speak.

Satan is very powerful, even powerful enough to give God’s archangels a good fight – before he finally loses – every time (Daniel 10:4-14).

I was able to form these words,

“I plead the blood of Jesus!”

When I was able to get those words out of my mouth, the devil vanished, and I regained all of my strength.

Right around that time, the Lord led me to set aside specific times, twice a day, to give Him thanksgiving and praise.

I always knew, being raised in a little holiness church, that I should praise the Lord and give thanks, and I did at times; but I never understood the necessity of setting aside specific times of holy convocation before the Lord for thanksgiving and praise, or what the benefits to doing that were, until I received a revelation through Perry Stone just about that time as well.

Perry Stone read Psalm 8:2 and Matthew 21:16 during his message and he explained that both of these scriptures combined tell us that praise silences the enemy and the avenger. This message, right at that time, answered my question as to why I was brought by the Lord to holy convocations of thanksgiving and praise. God knew I needed profound strength to stand against the avenger, satan, as I prayed effectual fervent prayers to destroy his strongholds.

Great spiritual strength is awarded to those who give thanks and praise the Lord, especially if you set aside specific times of holy convocation that you prioritize above everything in the world, like making an appointment with the President of the United States (who would miss that?); but even President Donald Trump would agree that your appointment with God is much, much more important than an appointment with him.

Give God all the firstfruits of your life, not just what is left over at the bottom of the barrel when you are finished with everything else, and watch God pour out strength, revelations and blessings to you that you never knew existed!

ASIA FLOOD

Screen shot: YouTube.com

Dream of Storm and Flood Disaster

I dreamed I was living in an Asian nation, likely either China or North Korea, because the people were Asian and under a Communist/Tyranny governance. A severe storm hit the province and government officials released a dam that literally wiped out neighborhoods.

As I stood on higher ground, I could see a surge of water being released that swept away homes in moments. After the deluge, family members that survived rummaged through their properties to see what they could salvage and carry with them. The dam disaster was deliberately triggered during a storm and I knew this because the Lord revealed it to me.

I salvaged a small cart of items from the house I lived in and I went to a high-rise building in the city. I heard a man say, as he stepped into the elevator, that winds developed stronger than any storm in history. The building began to sway and I said to someone standing next to me that we need to pray. I knelt to pray and the building literally fell over on its side, but no one on the bottom floor was injured.

I went out into the street and a woman who appeared to be a government official came and took my cart. I said, “You can’t take my things; that’s all I have!” She said, “Really?” And she walked away with my things. As she started off, I grabbed a small sack of tomatoes from the bottom of the cart. It wasn’t wise to argue, or try to fight for your things, because they could arrest and torture you, or even kill you.

Children were crying and people everywhere were destitute within moments; everything was gone suddenly and they had no one to help them. Government officials were only telling people where they could go, directing them to different locations, but they weren’t providing any water, food, or shelter for them. It was obvious to me that many people were already dead, and many more would die soon after the disaster.

Summary: There was a lot of detail in this dream and the fact that the Lord revealed to me that the government triggered a flood to cull the population in that region is an indicator that I need to share it with readers. God has people in these nations that are oppressed by Communism and tyrants, and I believe He showed me what will happen, so we can pray in advance.

The Prophet Daniel said,

“There is a God in heaven Who reveals secrets…” Daniel 2:28

The Word of God tells us,

“I have been young, and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread” Psalms 37:25

We only need to pray, and believe, for Jesus said,

“Hitherto you have asked for nothing in My name; ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full” John 16:24

WHAT WILL A MAN GIVE IN EXCHANGE FOR HIS SOUL

I was a little perplexed at the following scripture and thought perhaps there was an error in the translation, but it reads the same in the original Greek, when I checked it:

“What does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul; or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:26.

The last part of the scripture says, “…or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” I thought it should read, “or what shall a man receive in exchange for his soul?” You know, if some gives his soul away to the devil, what should he “receive” in exchange for it?

I prayed about this passage of scripture, when I noticed what appeared to be an error, and as I prayed and looked up the scripture in the original Greek, the Lord answered my prayer.

He revealed to me, as I read that passage of scripture again, that it was not incorrect. He caused me to realize that if a man gives away his soul for the pleasures of sin, he isn’t really going to get anything back in exchange for it; rather, he is going to suffer more loss than he can ever imagine. No amount of money, or pleasures in this world, can compensate, not only for the loss of his soul, but the loss of his peace, his health in many cases, and perhaps much more in this life.

A man, or woman, who gives away his/her soul will not actually gain anything in this life for it, only misery, heartache, loss of peace, sometimes health, often times their marriage – possibly losing everything, only to enjoy sin for a short while. He isn’t gaining anything by giving up his soul for sin, and the passage of scripture is written correctly, with absolute truth. Such a man not only will lose his soul, but he gives up many things in this life in exchange for sin.

What will you GIVE in exchange for your soul? In other words, consider what you stand to lose in this life because of your sins, in addition to your eternal soul!

Losing one’s eternal soul should be enough to deter us; but since many people don’t think past today, how about considering what you will give up in this life for your sins?

Often times, these are the losses one will suffer for their sins:

SINS

There are so many more sins and potential losses.

Jesus said,

“The thief (referring to satan) comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” John 10:10.

He also said,

“If a son asks for bread of any of you who is a father, will he give him a stone? If he asks for a fish, will he, instead of a fish, give him a serpent? If he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children; how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Luke 11:11-13.

Not only will the Lord give His children life more abundantly on this earth, but He will also give us His Spirit to discern what is good, a good choice, or bad, and to avoid those things satan plants as traps and for destruction.

Jesus offers abundant life in this world, and eternal life hereafter —

Satan offers the momentary pleasure of sin for a short time in this world, which bring eternal damnation in hell.

There are only two choices. Which do you choose?

HEAVEN BRILLIANT or MOUTH OF HELL

“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23.

The decision is easy for the wise.

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

SLEEP

Screen shot: YouTube.com

THE PEOPLE OF GOD START THEIR DAY WITH REST

The start of each day for Israelis and Orthodox Jews begins at sunset, as ordained of God (Genesis 1:5).

Isn’t it interesting how God’s people, including Christians who are grafted in as Jews (Romans 11:16-27), start their day in the evening and lay down to rest and go to sleep?

There is great spiritual significance behind the days that God instituted, versus the manner in which the secular, or godless, world lives.

While the rest of the world is starting their official day from 12:01 am, with only a few hours rest before rushing to work; the Jew starts his day at sunset, and he reclines at the very start of his day.

There is a very important message from God to His people regarding the manner in which He structured their day:

Jesus revealed it very clearly when He said,

“Come unto Me, all of you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (at the very start of your day). Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest unto your souls, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light” Matthew 11:28-30.

Isn’t that Just like God to give us a complete and thorough rest at the start of our day? After we rest and we prepare to go out and do something with the remainder of the day, at sunrise, He also promised to go with us!

“…I will never leave you, nor forsake you” Hebrews 13:5.

He also promised not to allow us more temptation than we can bear:

“There has no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it” 1 Corinthians 10:13.

One of the greatest benefits of serving the Lord is the peace He promised for His people:

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” John 14:27.

Nobody ever had it so good! These are all of the wonderful things God has done for His children, things money can’t buy:

  • Complete rest at the start of your day, not at the end of your day (symbolic of God’s rest within the hearts and minds of His people)
  • God goes with us, He never leaves us
  • He promised never to allow us more temptation than we are able to bear
  • He gives us His blessed peace, much greater peace than the world could ever know

There you have it. Who wouldn’t want to have a close relationship with the Lord?

Most of the world, apparently, and according to Bible prophecy. Not many will consider the benefits of living godly, because they want to “enjoy the passing pleasures of sin” (Hebrews 11:24-26). Not many fully perceive that they will pass from this life and face God in judgment some day.

The Word of God tells us,

“Enter in at the strait gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many go in thereat; because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leads to life (eternal), and few find it” Matthew 7:13-14.

People don’t realize that the very sins that they have forsaken the Lord for, are actually the things that will destroy them, not only in this life (HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, hepatitis, addiction, depression, stress, trouble, sorrow…ultimately leading to death…), but also eternally, in the fires of hell.

Jesus said,

“Come unto Me, all of you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28.

The message from the Lord is this:

Don’t wait until you are tired, wasted and destitute mentally, physically and spiritually; come to the Lord now and He will give you rest at the start of every day.

Every Christian is called into the Lord’s rest at all times, no matter what the situation is.

The Word of God tells us,

“Cast all of your care upon Him, for He cares for you” 1 Peter 5:7

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

TRADITIONS

Screen shot: YouTube.com

TRADITIONS OF MEN

Throughout history, since ancient times, men have suffered a major problem receiving direction and instruction from God, which leads to an intimate relationship and receiving divine revelations from Him. There is a powerful resistance within man to God, by way of following the traditions of men.

How can we know this?

There is, figuratively speaking, a church on every corner in cities throughout America, and most of them basically use the same Bible, but most of them teach a different doctrine; that’s how we know this is true.

God brought this message to me very clearly this morning, as I was reading a passage of scripture in Hebrew. Being just an elementary student of the Hebrew text, I was only able to understand three Words of that particular Hebrew scripture, “Bethlehem Ephratah,” “Judah,” and “Israel.” I felt certain, from these Words, that I knew which scripture it was, but I couldn’t remember where exactly it was located in the English Bible, so I entered “Bethlehem Ephratah” into my concordance to find the location.

I came to only three matches, one in Ruth 4:11, one in 1 Chronicles 4:4, and the last in Micah 5:2. Knowing this scripture about “Bethlehem Ephratah (and) Judah” was prophetic about where our Messiah would be born, I knew right away it would be in Micah 5:2:

“You, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting” Micah 5:2 (emphasis added).

After finding the scripture I was looking for, I became curious about what the Book of Ruth had to say about “Bethlehem Ephratah,” because I couldn’t remember what was said about the city in that book.

I checked the scripture in Ruth 4:11, and I sat there and cried because of the revelation given to me by the Lord.

The passage brought me to the part in the story of Ruth, when Boaz sat down at the gate of the city to redeem her and her mother-in-law, Naomi, after Ruth prepared herself and went and lay at his feet, under his mantle, on the threshing floor. When he awoke to find her there, Boaz determined he would marry her. Before he could do that, he had to settle the matter of Naomi’s dead husband’s property, because according to the laws of Israel, the one who redeemed his property had the right to marry Ruth first; Boaz was only second in line to redeem the property and marry Ruth.

Boaz went and sat down at the gate of the city, which was customary to conduct business and settle such matters, and he waited for the “first in line” (to redeem Ruth) to walk by, and he called him, along with ten other elders in the city (to be witnesses), to sit by him at the gate. They all came and sat with Boaz. He explained to the “first in line” that Elimelech’s property needed to be redeemed for the sake of Naomi and Ruth. The “first in line” declined, saying he couldn’t redeem the property and marry Ruth.

“Boaz said to the elders and to all the people, You are witnesses this day, that I have purchased all that was Elimelech’s (Naomi’s dead husband) and all that was Chilion’s (Naomi’s dead son) and Mahlon’s (Naomi’s other dead son, the former husband of Ruth) of the hand of Naomi (in her behalf)” Ruth 4:9.

What intrigued me greatly, as I continued to read, was the following prophecy included in the Book of Ruth about our Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua, because having been raised in the church since the age of one, I had never heard a message about this profound prophecy, neither had it ever caught my attention before during my studies in God’s Word:

“All the people that were at the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman (Ruth) that has come into your house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel, and do worthily in Ephratah and be famous in Bethlehem” Ruth 4:11.

These elders of Israel, in Bethlehem Ephratah, had no idea at the time that they were prophesying about the coming Messiah, just as Micah did, when he prophesied about the birthplace of Messiah:

“You, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting” Micah 5:2.

It is basically the same in the Hebrew Tanakh (only slight changes in translation):

Any reasonable Jew should know that this is a prophecy about the coming Messiah. The rest of the entire chapter speaks of His “giving up” Israel, until she “travails, then the remnant of His brethren shall return unto the children of Israel” (Micah 5:3), speaking of the Holocaust and return of the Jews to Israel); and further explains how He will “be the peace” of Israel (Micah 5:5), and deliver Israel from the Assyrian (Micah 5:6), and the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people (Micah 5:7), and the remnant of Jacob shall be among Gentiles (Micah 5:8), and His hand will be lifted up against Israel’s adversaries and their enemies shall be cut off (Micah 5:9)…and the Lord will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard (Micah 5:15), prophecies soon to be fulfilled.

Jesus, Yeshua, came out of the lineage of Boaz and Ruth, as the genealogy written in the Book of Matthew demonstrates:

“And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab, and Booz begat Obed of Ruth, and Obed begat Jesse” Matthew 1:5.

The genealogy continues…

“And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus (Yeshua), who is called Christ” Matthew 1:16.

Consider also this miraculous fact:

“So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, and from David until the carrying away (of Jews) into Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the carrying into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations” Matthew 1:17. *Jews are very concerned with numbers, as they pertain to the Word of God.

Consider something even more profound, at least it was to me when I saw it; the prophecy that the elders in Bethlehem spoke at the gate, when Boaz announced his marriage to Ruth:

“All the people that were at the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman (Ruth) that has come into your house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel, and do worthily in Ephratah and be famous in Bethlehem” Ruth 4:11 (emphasis added).

Right after that verse, in Ruth 4:12, they spoke prophetically of another couple that would be included in the genealogy of Christ:

“And let your house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the Lord shall give you of this woman” Ruth 4:12.

It is basically the same in the Hebrew Tanakh (only slight changes in translation):

וִיהִ֤י בֵֽיתְךָ֙ כְּבֵ֣ית פֶּ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יָֽלְדָ֥ה תָמָ֖ר לִֽיהוּדָ֑ה מִן־הַזֶּ֗רַע אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִתֵּ֤ן יְהֹוָה֙ לְךָ֔ מִן־הַֽנַּֽעֲרָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת: (Rut)

Notice that near the start of the genealogy given by Matthew (Matthew 1:3), the same couple is included in the genealogy of Christ, that were spoken of in the Book of Ruth:

“And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar (same as Tamar), and Phares begat Esrom, and Esrom begat Aram” Matthew 1:3.

A reasonable Jew would consider all of these prophetic facts, especially since they start in the Tanakh and conclude in the New Testament about the Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua, and know beyond any doubt that He fulfilled these prophecies, and so many more: Zechariah 12:10, about the Messiah being “pierced,” as detailed in Matthew 27:35, fulfilling also the prophecy of David in Psalm 22:18; Ezekiel 44:1-2, about how Messiah will enter the east gate and it will be shut until that time, and it remains shut today; and Zechariah 9:9, about how Jerusalem’s King will come to her, “having salvation, lowly, and riding upon an ass, upon the colt of an ass,” which was fulfilled by Yeshua, as detailed in Matthew 21:5; and Isaiah 7:14, about how the Lord will give a sign to Israel that a “virgin would conceive and bear a son and shall call Him Immanuel (Immanu El – God with us),” which was fulfilled and detailed in Matthew 1:18-23.

The fulfillment of these prophecies is mathematically phenomenal. The odds of the fulfillment of these prophecies, and many more I have not included here, being profoundly improbable.

A Jew cannot be certain, unless he researches for himself, that he follows the traditions of men, or the truth of God’s Holy Word. He can never know, unless he studies and reasons for himself, whether he only believes what men have handed down from generation to generation, or what the real truth is.

When people follow the traditions of men, if somewhere throughout the generations just one generation of men got it wrong, then all of the generations after them will also have it wrong.

Nevertheless, God made a promise to everyone:

“And you shall seek Me (God) and find Me, when you search for Me with all of your heart” Jeremiah 29:13 (emphasis added).

I challenge every Jew to confirm what the forefathers have told them, through sincere prayer unto God and by searching the Tanakh and studying the New Testament in the Orthodox Jewish Bible. You will never know for sure, unless you ask God yourself.

In fact, because there are churches and synagogues all over the world, with so many different doctrines it baffles the imagination, I challenge everyone, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Christians… reading this, to do your own research, while sincerely praying to God for the divine, unadulterated, TRUTH.

God will answer that prayer if you meet only one qualification: if you love the Lord with all of your heart, soul and mind (meaning you also obey Him) Jeremiah 29:13, Matthew 22:37.

When we stand before God on Judgment Day, we will stand alone to give an account. We will not be able to blame anything we believe, or anything we have done, on the rabbi, the teacher, the preacher, or our mother, or father; we will all answer to Him alone. Should we not, therefore, pray and study the Word of God for ourselves, to receive God’s divine revelation?

The Word of God tells us,

“I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:12-15.

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus, Yeshua, as their Lord and Savior; unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate (Romans 1:21-32). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING

Screen shot: YouTube.com

THE LOVE OF MONEY

Yesterday, before retiring, I decided I wanted to hear a good message by a particular preacher, among a few that I listen to now and then. I was tired and I needed to be refreshed in the Word.

I went to this particular minister’s website to watch his message that was generally posted weekly, but sadly, the weekly messages were gone. I went to that minister’s channel on You Tube and, after searching the channel, I couldn’t find a video with a message, only brief promotional videos, as he was selling his messages on CDs and DVDs.

My heart was stricken, folks. This is the second time I have seen an anointed preacher (previously anointed) take their videos and archived messages off of their websites, only to offer to sell them by CD, or DVDs – no free gospel of Christ there.

The problem with only sharing messages on CDs and DVDs is that some people really can’t afford to buy them. We are talking about the poor here; there are poor people in this world. I think maybe some ministers are so blessed they have forgotten there are poor people in the world who can barely pay for the necessities of life and there is nothing else left for CDs/DVDs!

The money-focused preacher might say if they paid their tithes and offerings faithfully, they would have plenty to buy my CDs/DVDs. The problem with that analogy is that the unsaved need to hear their messages before they learn the keys to the Kingdom and the laws of reaping and sowing!

Sure, the saints of God, who pay their tithes and offerings, are absolutely blessed and they can, without a doubt, order messages on CDs and DVDs; but what about the poor folks who aren’t even saved, who actually need to hear those messages more than anyone else? I thought to myself, don’t these ministers know that people who aren’t saved, who need to hear the Word of God more than anyone else, aren’t going to become a “partner” of their ministry, or likely order their CDs and DVDs to hear the gospel preached?

It’s not a sin to sell messages by CD/DVD if messages are also provided for free; but when a preacher only sells CDs/DVDs and offers no messages for free, he is selling the gospel – and that is an abomination!

Many preachers and evangelists today have lost sight of God’s will, His ways and the principles of the Kingdom, and their focus is on money first, winning souls last! A preacher who takes his messages off of the free website, in order to sell them only, has lost the anointing, and they will find that out sooner, or later.

The Lord God who has the power to bless them greatly, also has the power to take them down.

I won’t divulge the names of the preachers, because they can repent and be revived, and I wouldn’t want this type of criticism hanging over their ministry for the rest of their days. I will say that if they don’t heed God’s call to make the gospel free, they will either be chastised sorely, or go all the way into heresy.

The Lord laid this message on my heart about supporting ministries and collecting offerings, so I felt the Holy Ghost pressing on me to write it out and share it with the saints.

This message today starts in the Book of Exodus, chapter 35.

God gave Moses instructions on how to build the Tabernacle of God in the wilderness and He told Moses to gather offerings from the people, among those who were of “a willing heart.”

“Moses spake to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying, Take from among you an offering to the Lord, whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord, gold, silver and brass…And every wise hearted among you shall come and make all that the Lord has commanded…And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up and everyone whom His Spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the Tabernacle of the congregation and for all His service and for the holy garments…The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord commanded to be made by the hand of Moses” Exodus 35:4-5; 10; 20-21; 29.

The people gave from a willing heart to the Lord; they weren’t coerced.

Notice, God didn’t tell Moses to go out and offer the people a piece of the Tabernacle, or a piece of wood from the burnt offering with some ram’s blood on it, or some holy sanctified water, if they would bring an offering. God told Moses to go out and tell the people to give for the building of God’s Tabernacle, whoever is of a willing heart, that’s it!

Who do you think “stirred” up the hearts of the people to give for God’s Tabernacle? That’s right, it was God. Moses didn’t defile the intent of the people’s hearts, by offering them gifts in exchange for their offerings to God, but they were to give out of the sincerity of their hearts, otherwise, if they had given only to get something tangible for themselves, their offerings would have been defiled. This is how God operates. What you are seeing many times in the churches, on the internet, on television and radio are the concoctions of men to entice people to give. That is abominable in the sight of God. It defiles the offering!

If people do not give to God out of the sincerity of their hearts, because they want to give to God; if they are giving to get something back, like a gift, or some trinket for themselves, their giving is tainted and this type of collection defiles God’s plan and His purposes in the lives and hearts of His people.

After the people gave of their willing hearts, not being coerced, this is what happened next:

“And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal, and they brought to him free offerings every morning. All the wise men that completed the work of the sanctuary, came away from his work, and they spoke to Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to be made. Moses gave commandment then, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man, nor woman, make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary, so the people were restrained from bringing, for the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to complete it, and too much” Exodus 36:3-6.

I hope everyone, especially you pastors, evangelists and ministers, understand the principle behind what happened when God told His people what the Lord required for the building of His Tabernacle, and how the people were asked to give freewill offerings for God’s work.

When men and women of God focus on truth and light and how to minister to the people, visit the sick and pray the prayer of faith for their healing, visit those in prison and minister to the needs of the orphans, widows, fatherless, disabled, weak and poor among the saints and community, and when those men and women of God simply pray, in faith believing, and request freewill offerings, does anyone in the remotest part of their minds believe that God will not provide; in fact, believe that He will not provide to the extent that the offerings will be so much that you can tell the people not to give anymore, unless/until there is another need, besides their tithes and regular offerings?

When ministers begin to concoct gimmicks to entice people to give, that’s when ministries struggle and go bankrupt; because God has laws and principles and when those laws are broken, the people suffer and do without.

There is an exception, however. Charlatans will generally not suffer, nor do without, when they deceive the weak and gullible. Those kind will often reap bountifully for their schemes, because they are backed by satan himself, but they will face God on Judgment Day!

Ministers, why not go all out, 100 percent, for God and turn the matter over to Him? Instead of having your ushers pass the plate under the nose of every individual that attends church, why not set the collection box somewhere near the exit, so people can give without making a show of their giving (Matthew 6:1-4), and the poor who might not have something that service can leave with some peace, not intimidation, until their increase comes in.

The more you worry about money and what you are going to get, the more troubles you are going to have, ministers; but when you live a godly life and stop begging, the blessings will begin to flow; it is a promise:

“I will come near to you to judge you and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, against perjurers and against those who oppress wage earners, the widow and the fatherless and against those who turn away the stranger, and do not fear Me, says the Lord of hosts; for I am the Lord and I do not change; therefore, you sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers, you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts; but you said, Why should we be asked to return? Will a man rob God? You have robbed Me; but you say, How have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, so there will be meat in My house, and prove Me by this, says the Lord of hosts, and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing for you, that you will not have enough room to receive it. I will also rebuke the devourer for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts. All nations will also call you blessed, for you will be a delightsome land, says the Lord of hosts” Malachi 3:5-12.

Does anyone read anything in there that says ministers need to sell the gospel in order to get by? Please don’t misunderstand. It is perfectly alright to sell CDs and DVDs of your sermons; after all, they cost money to make; but to sell them, yet not have your messages also available on your websites, or other media, for free to the poor, the orphans, the fatherless and widows, is an abomination in the sight of God.

Every minister who does it will stand before God in judgment. It boils down to selling the gospel, but the gospel is FREE, folks, and never to be sold!

God never called one minister to sell the gospel truth, not one! There are plenty of charlatans to go around though.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Why not take God at His Word? Encourage the saints to pay their tithes, one tenth, according to the Word of God, and give freewill offerings, as the Lord leads them, and live holy; pay your own tithes and offerings, ministries, and most importantly love and seek God with all of your heart, soul, strength and mind – and watch God open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings to you and your ministry, so much that you won’t know how to receive them!

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful that promised)” Hebrews 10:23.

God bless you with wisdom and truth.

FEAR HAS TORMENT

‘Fear Has Torment’

I woke up in the morning with a message for someone, perhaps many; but at least someone in particular needs deliverance from a tormenting fear.

A tormenting fear is not of God, unless it is the fear of God Himself for the conviction of sins, but that can be quickly remedied through repentance and surrender to God.

The tormenting fear of anything else is satanic; but the good news is that God offers deliverance from all kinds of fear.

The Word of God tells us,

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He who fears is not made perfected in love” 1 John 4:18.

What this means is that your love for the Lord has not been perfected, if you suffer fear, but when you surrender yourself to the Lord wholly, fully, and repent of sin, you will not fear.

Some people need help getting there, so please continue reading…

The Prophet Isaiah wrote this about the coming Messiah, Jesus:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord…” Isaiah 61:1-2.

When Jesus entered the temple in Nazareth on the Sabbath day, He stood up to read, and the Book of Isaiah was delivered to Him. He found Isaiah 61:1-2, and read what Isaiah the prophet said about Himself (Luke 4:18-19).

Jesus, on that day in the temple, relayed this message, not only to those present, but also to the entire world:

“I Am the One that the prophet Isaiah wrote about; I Am the One who brings good tidings to the poor; I Am the One who heals the brokenhearted; I Am the One who proclaims liberty to the captives…”

The Word of God also tells us that Jesus commanded His disciples to cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead (Matthew 10:5-8), just as He did before He ascended up to the Father.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and He saved you from your sins, because you confessed them and asked His forgiveness, He promised already to give you peace:

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” John 14:27.

If your sins are forgiven and you are a child of God, but satan has afflicted you with a tormenting fear, place your hands on your monitor, or phone, below, right where the following prayer and commandment is written, to receive the prayer of deliverance and the added blessing with it. Do it in faith, fully believing, for it is impossible to receive with out faith James 1:6-7: (Say the following out loud and then place your hands over the words and receive them by faith)

“In the name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer, I command you, spirit of fear and torment, to flee those who place their hands over this commandment in faith. In the name of Jesus, I also release God’s blessing of peace over you from this time forward, according to the Word of God.”

This type of proxy is Biblical. Even though I can’t be there with you to pray over you, this written commandment and prayer, and the method of laying your hands upon it in faith to receive it, is just as effective. An example is found in Acts 19:11-12, when Paul sent handkerchiefs to those who were sick, or who were possessed with evil spirits.

The Word of God says,

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

Receive this deliverance and peace by faith in the name of Jesus. It will be your own faith that brings the deliverance, and my faith with yours together.

The first thing the devil will do is tell you that you aren’t delivered and he will heap doubts upon you and try to bring fear right back. Each and every time a thought of doubt creeps into your mind, don’t entertain that thought for one minute. Rebuke it in the name of Jesus and begin to pray, rehearse scriptures relating to deliverance (Isaiah 61:1; 1 John 5:4; John 8:36) and sing songs of victory.

If you are living in willful sin, receive deliverance from that too, in the name of Jesus, because sin will hinder your deliverance. Serve the Lord with all of your heart and ask Him to give you perfect love for Him. If you sin after that, just repent, and determine in your heart not to continue in sin and God will still help you; just don’t continue in sin willfully. God will deliver you, He will heal you and give you His peace.
